Finishing the broadcast on this September, it is said that "RAIL WARS!" anime made a reputation from some railfans because of the depiction of the imagination that Japan National Railway weren't privatized and the rolling stocks debuted in JNR period still had been running take shape.
Then, I tried to copy the carriages appearing on the anime by tracing photographs. The first time is E231 Series on Yamanote Line, which appeared on episode 3, 6, and 12.
On the anime, E231 Series seemed to be in service only on Yamanote Line, which may be pictured as the carriage with specialized specification like 119 Series for Iida Line. In fact, E231 Series for Yamanote Line improved its acceleration and brake than the ones for Chuo Sobu Line local service (Chuo Sobu Line: 2.5km/h per second, Yamanote Line: 3.0km/h per second) to increase motored carriages.
I was surprised at the moment when this JR-type rolling stock appeared on the anime because of the concept of the world, which means the author, Takumi Toyoda, might forecast that E231 Series or the similar ones were manufactured for Yamanote Line if JNR weren't privatized.
The picture is based on the photograph when it coupled the 6-doored carriages, and imaging Tou 532 set, which becomes a N-gauge model train by TOMIX, because of the cooperation of the maker.
"JNR indicator font" produced byrollsis used as the destination, operation number, and set number of the picture.
