12月20日、東京駅が開業100周年を迎えた。
東京駅といえば、赤レンガ造りの丸の内駅舎と駅前のオフィスビル群の光が作り出す夜景が見もの。そんな魅力的な夜景を先日撮影した。
On December 20th, Tokyo Station marked its 100th anniversary.
I photographed some pictures of the night view with the station building made of red brick, which is created by the light from it and the skyscrapers around the station.

ホームに停車中のE2系新幹線 東京中央郵便局（KITTE）6階テラスより E2 Series Shinkansen stopping from the balcony at 5th/6th floor of Tokyo Central Post Office (JP Tower KITTE) in front of Marunouchi South Entrance\
東京駅の顔として多くの人をを迎え入れ、送り出してきた丸の内駅舎は、戦争で焼け落ちた3階部分とドーム型の屋根を復原する工事が2012（平成24）年に完成し、67年ぶりに開業当時の姿を取り戻した。
開業当時と同じ姿で2014（平成26）年12月20日の100周年を迎える東京駅を撮ろうと、多くの人々がカメラを向けていた。東京の、そしてJR東日本・JR東海のシンボルの1つであり、大正期の日本近代建築を象徴する存在、そして重要文化財に指定された、歴史的価値の高い赤レンガ駅舎の夜景は、やはりいつの時代も美しいものだ。
On the balcony of Tokyo Central Post Office many photographers came to shoot pictures of the night view. I saw the night view with the station building, which is one of the symbols of Tokyo City, JR East, JR Central, and an important cultural property, keeps being beautiful though it has passed 100 years since the building opened.
