Oscar night
Hello there my fellow English speaking friends:Once a year, we can make our dreams come true... City life or Country life?
Good'ay there my fellow English speaking friends:Hey, do you like to live in the country? How about the city?This is a tough question and can be debated forever. I think that we need both. A country boy can never enjoy the finer aspects of the city: like electronic stores. Sometimes, this can be taken to extremes. I found an interesting article on CNN. According to article, there is now a restaurant in NY city where you can DINE IN THE NUDE! Lately, you may have been noticing an increase in robots in our society.Well, here is another one.This funny looking thing actually walks like a human!Humans use the fall of gravity while taking balance to gain forward momentum. Previous robots have not been able to do this.It actually learns to walk! Just like a human baby.Pretty cool stuff. GIANT TREES
Hello there my fellow English speaking friends:Do you like nature? I enjoy some green now and again in my life too.Have you guys ever heard of the giant sequoia? It is a VERY TALL tree found in the northern part of the US.I remember going to see the sequoia when I was young. Back then I just didn't know what big really means. Big?Well: and: The tallest Sequoia is called 'General Sherman,' and is 91.5 meters! The width of the base is 34.2 meters! In the US, we say that in order to fall asleep, you should count sheep. (yes, sheep. Imagine sheep in you mind....and count them).But according to a Taiwanese researcher, the best way to fall asleep, is to listen to music! Quiet and slow tempo music is the way to go.How do you fall asleep?
