☆９月２８日レポート

１）日時： 9月28日（日）14:00から16:00 場所： 市民情報交流センター(ナバリエ2階) ２）今回の参加者：8名（日本人7名）（以下順不同、トモ、トオル、エイコ、カジ、メグミ、アヤ、カヨコ、ユウジ) 。 ３）内容：過去体験した自然災害について。また、話題をサイコロで決めて何分か話す 今回は、初めての方が3名もいらっしゃいました。ブロクを見て来ていただいたメグミさん、E7のメンバーの知り合いの紹介で来ていただいたアヤさん、アメリカ出身で名張市内の五つの小学校でALTをされている、カジさん（ニックネーム）。 前回は台風のため、E7はできませんでした。今回は、それをうけて台風、地震、火山噴火など過去体験した自然災害について話しました。 台風の具体的な進路を知るためにスマホは確かに役に立つが、あまりにも正確すぎて少し怖いところがある。 最近の携帯電話・スマホなどには、地震が来るぞ、という通知が発生数秒前に来る。 トモの場合、運転中に地震が来るという知らせを携帯電話に受けたことがある。 しかし、通知自体に驚き、結局運転を続行することしかできなかった。 幸い大きな地震ではなく事なきを得たが、実際のところ数秒前に地震が来るのを知ったところで、その数秒間にできることはあまりにも少ない。 また、場合によっては、その通知の方が、実際の地震より怖いこともある。 職場の食堂で大勢の人がお昼を食べている最中に、全員の携帯電話・スマホに地震通知が来た。 食堂にいた人の全員の携帯電話・スマホが一斉に数秒間鳴り響いた。 これは一体なんだ、と食堂にいた全員が驚いている数秒後、なんともない、規模の小さい地震が起こった。 携帯電話・スマホが鳴り響いた理由はわかったものの、実際の地震より、その数秒前の地震通知の方が断然怖かった。 後半は初めての試みとしてユウジ君のアイデアで、1人1人サイコロを回し、その目によって予め決めた六つの話題のどれかを話すということもしました。 1, Do you have any hobbies? 2, Which do you like better, playing sports or watching sports? 3, What do you usually do in your free time? 4, Where did you go on your last trip? 5, What is your favorite movie? 6, Whatever you want to talk. ユウジ君：5 「Terminal」と答えた。 カヨコさん : 3 新聞に載っているパズルなど、あらゆるパズルにハマっている。 メグミさん : 2 スポーツは何でも見る方が好きです。 アヤさん：4 香川県でうどんを食べました。 トモさん：4 伊勢若松で大黒屋太夫記念館に行った。 カジさん：3 音楽を聴いたり、日本語・ベトナム語など語学の勉強をすること。 エイコさん：4 スイスへ行きました。いろいろなモノの物価が高かったです。 トオルさん：5 Breaking Badについて語っていただいたところ、カジさんも同じ意見で盛り上がりました。 初めてサイコロシステムを試したところ、話題が途切れることなく皆さんで楽しく話せたので、次回も同じ流れで行いたいと思います。 次回のE7は10月19日(日)で時間、場所はいつもと同じです！ トモ ＆ ユウジ １）Time: 14:00 - 16:00 on Sunday September 28th 2014, Place: At Nabarie, the next building to Daisan Bank at Nabari station. ２）Attending members： 8 people (7 Japanese）（Tomo, Toru, Eiko, Kaji, Megumi, Aya, Kayoko, Yuji) 3)This time we talked about the following: about natural diasters members experienced in the past, and we also rolled a dice to pick a random topic and talk freely about it. This time we have 3 people new to E7: Megumi, who has been looking at the E7 blog; Aya, who has been referred to E7 by one of the member of E7; Kaji(Nickname) who is from the U.S. and work as an ALT in five elementary schools in Nabari. Last E7 was not held due to the typhoon. With that in mind, we talked about typhoon, earthquakes, volcano eruptions, and other natural diasters we experienced in the past. Smartphones and cell phones are indeed useful in knowing specific direction typhoons are heading, but its accuracy is so good it is sometimes a bit scary. We receive earthquake alert message in our cell phones and smartphones a few seconds before it actually hits us. For Tomo, the alert message came to his cell phones when he was driving. He was surprised to receive the alert message, and he couldn't do anything but keep on driving. Fortunately, what followed was not a big one, so that was ok. But what can we really do in that few seconds? There is so little we can do in a few seconds. In other cases, the alert message itself is much more scarier than the actual earthquake that follows. I was eating lunch in a crowded cafeteria at work when the alert message came. The message rang all the cell phones and smartphones in the cafeteria for a few seconds. Everyone in the cafeteria was going, "what in the world is this!" Then a few seconds later, a very small earthquake hit us. Although everyone knew why their cell phones/smartphones rang, the ringing was much more scarier than the actual earthquake. For the last hour of the session, we rolled a dice to pick a random topic and talk freely about it. Here's the six topic to choose: 1, Do you have any hobbies? 2, Which do you like better, playing sports or watching sports? 3, What do you usually do in your free time? 4, Where did you go on your last trip? 5, What is your favorite movie? 6, Whatever you want to talk. Yuji：5 He answered the movie「Terminal」. Kayoko: 3 She loves the crossword puzzle in the newspaper, and all kind of puzzles in general. Megumi: 2 Regardless of the kind of the sport, she likes to watch others do the sport. Aya:4 She went to Kagawa prefecture and ate udon. Tomo：4 He went to Ise-wakamatu to see Daikokudayu Memorial Hall in Ise-Wakamatu. Kaji：3 Listening to music, studying languages such as Japanese and Vietnamese. Eiko：4 She went to Switzerland. Many things there were expensive. Toru：5 He was really excited to talk about "Breaking Bad," and Kaji really felt the same. This system of picking a topic and talking free about it was a good success; we like to do this again next time. Next E7 is on Sunday, October 19th. Tomo & Yuji
