MADAME- We, theinhabitants of Letterfrank and Kylemore do gladly avail ourselves of the present opportunity of expressing our unboundedjoy joy and gratitude at your safe arraival in Kelemore after a Continental tour.Since we first had the good fortune of your coming amongst us, your noble hearted husband and yourself have so much to improve and beautify this long neglected ,poverty-stricken,district;you have shown such uniform kindness and liberrality to all particularly to the sick poor-no language at our command can adequately express ou feeling of admiration of such invaluable, and,we hope, never-to-be-forgotten services.
During your absence, Madame, many a fervent prayer had been offered for your safe return, also for that of Miss Henry and Mr.George Henry, and now that you are come home (we hope in the enjoyment of good health),we all unite in offering you, with all the
exuberance of grateful Irish hearts, a sincere and most cordial Cead Mile Failte.

The address was signed by ninety of the inhabitants.
GENTLEMEN- I feel so much overcome by your kindness that I may say,as Cromwell said to Wolsey, "I have no power speak" I think,as a rule, ladies are not good od speakers,
and I am sure that I should make vemibad one; but had I been aware sooner our intention to present to me this beautiful, elaborate ,and eloquet address, 1 should have endeavoured to prepare a suitable reply or have asked Mr. Henry,WHo is more accustomed to making speaches than I am,to have made one for me. However, as I have done neither the one nor the other, I must ask your simply to accept my thanks,as they come spontaneously from my heart.
I was going to begin by saying that nat the moment I could not find words to express my gratitude and sense of your kindness;but I shall not say so,for even were I able to find words and string them fail to convey to you the feelings of my heart.Believe me, your warm welcome and kind expressions have most deeply touchedme, and will never be beforgotten.
The brilliant display of fireworks pleased us all greatly and afforded intense pleasure to the little ones. They were by far the best fireworks we have ever had,and were most successful,in split of the unfavourable weather.I fear I am unable to say more, and I jointed by Miss Henry and Mr.Gorge Henry,in asking you again to accept our heartfelt thanks, and to believe not only in our gratitude, but in our lasting regard.
