3月27日の桜 in 川口市
桜並木↑（2020年3月27日、神戸、埼玉県川口市）妙蔵寺の桜↑（2020年3月27日、安行領根岸、埼玉県川口市）朝食前の自転車乗りは、荒川沿いを走ることが多いのですが、3月27日（金）は、川口市内を回ってみました。至る所で桜が満開です。安行寒桜で有名な密蔵院は花は既に散り終えていて、葉桜となっていました。草加市との市境にある伝右川沿いでは、川の両側に植えられた満開の桜が１kmほど続き圧巻です。妙蔵寺の桜は、何種類かの桜が花を咲かせていて心が安らぎます。上根運動場前の道路は、桜並木が続いていました。I enjoyed cycling for cherry blossom viewing within Kawaguchi city, Saitama prefecture before breakfast on March 27. 【Bon appétit !】 The people of Japan were now supposed to be enjoying the start of the cherry blossom viewing season. 3月20日の目黒川の桜
目黒川の桜↑（2020年3月20日、中目黒、東京）夜の目黒川沿い↑（2020年3月20日、中目黒、東京）今日（2020年3月20日）の目黒川の桜は、まだ2-3割の開花という感じでしょうか。ほとんど咲いていない木も見受けられます。今日は暖かでしたので、明日は一気に花が開きそうな気がします。Photos show cherry blossoms on the Megurogawa river on March 20, 2020.Good timing for cherry blossom viewing may come in two or three days.【Bon appétit !】 Every year, for just over a week, Meguro’s usually sleepy river banks become a hive（人込み、ミツバチの巣）of activity, as one of Tokyo’s most magical spots to see the annual cherry blossoms. 山手線原宿駅新しい外回りホーム
現行のホーム（手前）から見た外回りホーム（奧）、↑（2020年3月12日、原宿駅、山手線）解体される予定の現駅舎↑（2017年6月1日、原宿駅、山手線）2020年3月21日から、原宿駅が新しい駅舎になります。新駅舎は橋上駅となります。明治神宮側にあった臨時ホームが改良されて外回り用の新ホームとなり、現在のホームは内回り用となります。現在の竹下口は新ホームからも地下通路でつながり、渋谷寄りは表参道方面と明治神宮方面が設けられます。1924年に竣工した現在の木造駅舎は、パラリンピック終了後に解体される予定だそうです。The new Harajuku railway station building will start service on 21 March 2020. 【Bon appétit !】 The station consists of a single island platform serving two tracks. 大寒桜と緋寒桜 at 上野公園 (2020年3月9日現在)
オオカンザクラ↑（2020年3月9日、上野公園、台東区）ヒカンザクラ↑（2020年3月9日、上野公園、台東区）今年のソメイヨシノがそろそろ開花するのではないかと思っていましたが、今日の上野公園のソメイヨシノは、まだ開花していませんでした。オオカンザクラは、既に盛りで、花弁が散り始めていました。ヒカンザクラは、咲き続けています。 Somei-yoshino cherry trees, the most popular species, have not started to bloom at Ueno Park, though I witnessed some other early blossoming of cherry trees. 新型ホームドアの供用開始 at 蕨駅
ホームドア調整中↑（2020年2月1日、蕨駅、京浜東北線）ホームドア調整中↑（2020年2月1日、蕨駅、京浜東北線） 蕨駅のホームドアの整備が完了し、2020年2月29日から供用を開始しました。 このホームドアは、「スマートホームドア®」という名称で、ＪＲ東日本メカトロニクス（株）が開発したということです。 ドア部を簡素化しフレーム構造にしたことにより本体機器費用が抑えられ、また、軽量化したことによりホームの強化工事を含め設置工事費用が抑えられるそうです。New type of platform doors started to be in service on the platform of Warabi railway station on February 29, 2020. 【Bon appétit !】 A working group comprising the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and railway operators decided in December 2016 that platform doors should be installed at all train stations that have at least 100,000 passengers per day by fiscal 2020 following the deaths of those with visual impairments. 鉄道＋モンブラン
昔は、SLも走っていた↑（1968年3月24日、常磐線日暮里―上野間）モンブラン↑（2020年2月24日、台東区、東京都）1歳4か月になる孫が電車を見ると喜ぶので、日暮里駅北口前にある下御隠殿橋へ行ってきました。ひっきりなしに電車が通過するので、孫は、興奮気味。電車の音に合わせて体をゆすり指で指し声を出したりします。京成線、常磐線、東北線、高崎線、新幹線、京浜東北線、山手線があり、特急車両も次々と通りますので、いつまで見ていても飽きません。私の日暮里での定番は、谷中の商店街で和栗のモンブランを食べることです。食感と風味が素晴らしく、自然な味わいが楽しめます。この日も、モンブランデセルと飲物のセットを頼みました。飲み物は美味しいお茶を頼むことが多いのですが、日本酒を頼みました。モンブランとお酒の組み合わせもまた乙なものでした。I enjoyed viewing various kinds of trains near Nippori railway satation with my grandchild as well as eating Mont Blanc made from Japanese chestnut at Waguriya, Yanaka shopping street. 【Bon appétit !】 Yanaka (谷中) is one of the few districts in Tokyo where the shitamachi atmosphere, an old town ambience reminiscent of Tokyo from past decades, still survives. Throughout the district, there is an air of nostalgia and a rustic（素朴な、田舎風の） charm.
