現行のホーム（手前）から見た外回りホーム（奧）、↑（ 2020 年 3 月 12 日、原宿駅、山手線）

解体される予定の現駅舎↑（ 2017 年 6 月 1 日、原宿駅、山手線）

2020 年 3 月 21 日から、原宿駅が新しい駅舎になります。

新駅舎は橋上駅となります。

明治神宮側にあった臨時ホームが改良されて外回り用の新ホームとなり、現在のホームは内回り用となります。

現在の竹下口は新ホームからも地下通路でつながり、渋谷寄りは表参道方面と明治神宮方面が設けられます。

1924 年に竣工した現在の木造駅舎は、パラリンピック終了後に解体される予定だそうです。

The station consists of a single island platform serving two tracks.
