How to Make DIY Perfume Storage Tray With Dollar Tree Finds
Here are the Dollar Tree supplies you'll need to recreate this DIY:
-
2 Essentials Wire Storage Basket Trays ($1.50 each)
-
2 Main Street Peel and Stick Wallpaper Sheets ($2.99 each)
-
2 Jot Frameless Chalk Boards ($1.25 each)
-
1 Essentials White Wire Cabinet Shelf ($1.50 each)
-
Crafters Square Mini Hot Glue Sticks ($1.25 for 20-pack)
-
Hot glue gun (not currently listed on Dollar Tree's website)
Here’s how @juju.cares put together her perfume display:
-
Unpeel the backing from your wallpaper sheets and smoothly stick one onto each chalkboard. Neatly fold the wallpaper 's overhanging edges onto the back of the chalkboard.
-
Place one chalkboard into the base of each tray. Then, flip the tray over and apply dots of hot glue to attach each chalkboard to its tray.
-
Place your wire cabinet shelf on top of one chalkboard, and use hot glue to attach the base of each leg to the chalkboard.
-
Apply more hot glue along the top of the cabinet shelf's wires, and then place the other wire basket on top.
-
Let the hot glue dry, and then fill each shelf with your perfume bottles.

In the comments, a bunch of people complimented the DIY, with some offering ideas to take it to the next level.
"Love it! I would’ve spray painted the rack gold but still cute," one person commented. "This would be good next to coffee machine," wrote another commenter, noting that you could use it to store things like sugar packets and K-Cup Pods.
"Awesome! I think it looks great!! 🥰🥰🥰 thanks for the DIY for whoever wants to do it!" someone else wrote.
However, a few commenters shared their criticism of the DIY. Some called the project "tacky," while others noted that you could simply order a two-tier tray on websites like Amazon or Temu for even less money than the cost of the Dollar Tree materials. A few of @juju.cares' fans came to her rescue and pushed back against the many negative reactions.
"Y'all killing me in the comments talking about would’ve could’ve should’ve! Man let her be🙄," someone wrote. "I know you can buy products anywhere it’s just different when you craft and create things yourself 💕✨super cute," added another commenter.
Based on how often @juju.cares posts DIY videos, she clearly enjoys doing these projects, and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.
