Kate Brosnahan Spade, then an accessories editor at Mademoiselle, launched her accessories brand in 1993 by offering six versions of the still-iconic Sam purse. Kate Spade only accepts returns on purchases made online in the U.S. and Canada, and the company will accept returns on both full price and sale items if they are returned unused and unworn within 30 days. Items must be returned in good condition with their original tags and packaging attached. Final-sale items and outlet products are not eligible for returns. Returns will take between five and 10 days to be processed.

It begins on the date of purchase and does not apply to normal wear and tear. Kate Spade offers a two-year manufacturing defect warranty on watches.
