Some beauty products become classics for a reason, and OPI 's latest launch is proof that certain shades never truly go out of style.

This fall , the beloved nail brand is reopening its archives and bringing back a dozen of its most-requested colors , reviving fan favorites that helped define manicures in the 1990s and early 2000s.

What's Coming Out of the OPI Vault?

The new collection, aptly named Most Requested! , features returning shades that longtime OPI fans have been asking about for years. According to the brand, these are the iconic colors that once became so popular they "broke" the company's inventory system before earning cult status among nail polish enthusiasts.

The collection includes 12 shades in OPI's original Nail Lacquer formula, which offers up to seven days of wear when paired with the brand's three-step system, as well as matching GelColor options designed to last up to three weeks.

Among the colors making their comeback are classics like Mod About You, a soft pink that remains a go-to for understated manicures; Lincoln Park After Midnight, OPI's deep eggplant hue with an almost-black finish; and Every Month Is Oktoberfest, a rich, shimmery burgundy inspired by autumn's warm, moody tones.

The collection doesn't stop with OPI's classic Nail Lacquer. The brand is also debuting a collection of Infinite Shine hues, designed for up to 11 days of gel-like wear.

"From nail polish colors like Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ to shimmery purple faves like Louvre Me Louvre Me Not, this lineup is the perfect blend of old favorites and new must-have shades," the brand stated in an online announcement.

What's New?

While OPI's fall collection is rooted in nostalgia, the brand is also introducing a few new shades designed to stand alongside the returning favorites. Together, the lineup blends beloved classics with fresh colors that feel right at home for fall.

It's not the first time this year that OPI has resurrected old favorites. In February 2026, the brand marked 45 years with an OPIcons collection that featured remixed versions of some of the brand's most iconic colors.

"For 45 years, OPI has been in the business of inspiring our consumers," OPI Co-Founder and Brand Ambassador Suzi Weiss-Fischmann said in a statement at the time . "When I first started exploring the world of nail color, I felt that it didn't offer people anything personal or relevant to their lives, with basic colors and generic, one-size-fits-all names. But I've always had an unshakeable belief in the transformative power of color, especially as a vehicle to express freedom, joy and empowerment. I wanted our consumers to have the entire rainbow at their fingertips through OPI."

She continued, "Our name, logo, iconic bottle, incredible formulas and colorful contents have become a messenger of beauty and inspiration. I love hearing about the emotional connections our shades have forged, and with this collection, we're turning to our most iconic hues to create new favorites."

As beauty trends continue to embrace nostalgia, OPI is proving that some of its most memorable shades were never meant to stay in the vault for long.
