Halloween is a pretty unfair arrangement for dogs. Strangers show up at the door with buckets of treats, everyone gets excited, and somehow the one family member who can hear a snack bag opening three rooms away isn't invited to participate. You can see why they'd have questions.

Fortunately, Mean Girls star and Halloween Wars host Jonathan Bennett is making sure dogs get a piece of the action. He and his dog, Brad, have teamed up with Milk-Bone and its Halloween Spooky Biscuits , which come shaped like ghosts, bats and pumpkins. At last, a Halloween treat for someone who's been practicing their begging skills all year.

Milk-Bone Halloween Spooky Biscuits, $7.49 at Target

The 24-ounce pail is packed with crunchy little pumpkins, bats, ghosts, and monsters, because apparently the Halloween costume budget extends to dog biscuits. They're fortified with 12 vitamins and minerals, and Milk-Bone says the crunchy texture can help reduce tartar buildup. Not bad for something shaped like a tiny ghost.

PetHelpful also recently spotted Target's chicken and pumpkin jerky treats , giving dogs another excuse to participate in pumpkin season. They have no idea why we're celebrating, but they're certainly enjoying the catering.

The biscuits have earned a 4.7-star rating at Target, and shoppers seem particularly fond of their spooky little shapes. More importantly, they're actually made for dogs, which is reassuring when yours believes every piece of Halloween candy is a personal invitation.

Brad, meanwhile, takes his Halloween preparations seriously. Bennett says he lets Brad try on different costumes before choosing one, and this year, he's going as a vampire. Apparently, Brad has a fitting room, a personal stylist and final approval over his wardrobe. Most of us aren't getting that level of service.

Jonathan Bennett's Dog Has Halloween Figured Out

Bennett told Parade Pets that Brad has practically turned trick-or-treating into a full-time job. The pair visit dog-friendly businesses with Milk-Bone treats, and Brad now knows exactly which stops are worth making. Imagine having your favorite snack locations memorized and a personal chauffeur to take you there. Not a bad arrangement.

The Milk-Bone Halloween Spooky Biscuits are made for dogs of all sizes, with portions adjusted accordingly. Just keep the human candy out of reach, especially chocolate and other sweets that can be dangerous for dogs. Nobody wants Halloween ending with an emergency vet visit.

Brad, meanwhile, has turned the holiday into a pretty impressive lifestyle. He gets dressed up, makes his rounds, and collects treats from businesses that already know him.

At this point, he's less of a trick-or-treater and more of a local celebrity with a very specific appearance fee.
