Sonic Fans Can Finally Display the Seven Chaos Emeralds at Home

The Official SEGA Shop , powered by DPI Merch, has launched two new collectibles for Sonic the Hedgehog 's 35th anniversary: a set of the seven Chaos Emeralds and a limited-edition Then & Now medallion set from Fanattik. Both went up on Tuesday, October 27, as pre-orders, with the Chaos Emeralds Set priced at $59.99 and the medallions at $39.99.

Sonic Chaos Emeralds Set

The Chaos Emeralds Set includes all seven Chaos Emeralds, each made from artificial crystal glass and measuring 2.5 cm, on matching color-plated brass stands. They come in a decorative gift box with a gold-stamped Sonic logo, per the shop listing. SEGA's announcement presents it as a way to show off the gems while keeping them away from Eggman. The shop lists an estimated ship date of January 2027, and no edition limit is stated.

Then & Now Limited Edition Medallion Set

The Then & Now Medallion Set pairs two metal medallions, one showing Sonic in his modern look and one showing his classic 16-bit design, each measuring 81 x 95 mm. The set is limited to 5,000 worldwide, and every set is individually numbered. A collector's box with a built-in display stand lets you show both designs side by side, and the shop estimates December 2026 for shipping.

Both items are pre-sale listings, so an order that includes them will not ship until everything in it is available, and pre-orders are not eligible for discounts. Prices do not include taxes or shipping. The drop continues the 35th anniversary collection that Gaming Trend reported launching on the same shop on June 23, which included a Green Hill Zone statue and a varsity jacket, and follows SEGA's plan for limited merchandise partnerships, as Video Games Chronicle reported in January.
