Just unveiled, Spyderco's Product Reveal 22 boasts some cool new knives and eye-popping updates to several classics.
Leading the latter category is the Colorado-based brand's latest makeover of its flagship tactical EDC knife, which makes a top-notch option even better.

The new Para Military 2 Lightweight Salt adopts a highly coveted super steel, MagnaCut, prized for its hitherto unbeatable blend of toughness, corrosion resistance, edge retention and ease of sharpening.
Available with either a PlainEdge or a serrated SpyderEdge, the 3.47-inch premium drop-point blade adds yet another layer of appeal to a knife that got both lighter and more affordable early this year.

The relevant update at that time was the introduction of injection-molded fiberglass-reinforced-nylon scales that make it 25 percent lighter than its G-10-handled predecessor.
The yellow hue boosts visibility, while Spyderco's tried-and-true Bi-Directional Texture pattern ensures a confident grip.

The blade steel swap does not affect the weight, enabling this knife to remain ultralight at just 2.8 ounces.
It also retains the brand's coveted Compression Lock , one of the best in the business, as well as the trademark thumb hole for smooth one-handed deployment, a reversible deep-carry pocket clip and convenient lanyard hole.

Like every Salt knife, this PM2 also boasts corrosion-resistant, marine-grade handle components and hardware, which serve it well should you choose to use it for its intended purpose, as a water knife.
