Don't buy them a sleeping bag. Shop 15 gifts campers actually need
The best gifts for campers, according to real campers (and shoppers)
If you've ever shopped for a camper , you know the struggle. The people who spend weekends sleeping under the stars usually already own the basics. They have the tent. They have the sleeping bag. And if they're really into the outdoors, they're probably picky about their gear.
That's why I always look beyond the obvious.
The best camping gifts aren't necessarily the flashiest or most expensive. They're the unexpected items and clever gadgets that make mornings at the campsite easier, nights around the fire cozier and outdoor adventures more enjoyable. After reviewing gear recommended by experienced outdoor enthusiasts and camping experts, plus my own personal favorite finds, I put together the gifts that campers will actually use from REI , Patagonia , Amazon , Leatherman and more.
