Just Get Your Teenage Boy an Inflatable Couch Already

I know the struggle of finding ways to surprise my teenage son with gifts every year. We typically pass wish lists around in my family, but last year, when I gave him one of these inflatable couches on a whim, I was thrilled at how much he loved it.

How It Works
There's no air pump for the inflatable couch. Instead, you unroll it and hold open the large flap at the end. And here's where it gets fun: You have to run to push air into the two couch chambers. A few short sprints should do it. (If you're in a windy spot, it'll be much easier.) Seal the air inside by quickly rolling up the open end—the more you roll, the firmer the couch becomes—and then buckle it.
It's not airtight, though. After a few hours, it may need another run refill, but in my opinion, this is part of what makes this couch so entertaining. To pack it up, just unbuckle it and roll it up from the sealed end, which will push the air out.
The Chillbo has anchor loops, so you can stake it down on a windy day and a large side pocket that's perfect for storing devices and keys. It also comes with a carrying bag and two repair patches. Once inflated, it's over 6 feet long, which is enough room for two people to sit side by side or one lucky guy to lounge on his own.
It's Durable and Portable
Chillbo says the couch is made of 100% ripstop polyester—the same material you'll find on camping tents and hammocks. It sheds water and dries quickly, and is durable enough to be used nearly anywhere. Take it to the pool, the beach, the backyard, the park, or a campsite because dragging it over rocks, sticks, or shells isn't an issue.
