That means we've been gearing up for fall races by testing running shoes , putting the latest Apple releases through their paces, and looking to our layering options for fall hikes . Dig in with us to some of the best new gear we've been testing lately.

1) Yeti Loadout Phone Case

If you are tough on your phone, then there's finally a Yeti solution for you. Compatible with iPhone 17/18 Pro and Pro Max, the Loadout Phone Case has extra cushioning with shockproof edges and military-grade spec drop protection. It's also MagSafe compatible and will easily be the toughest phone case you've ever had.

2) Twelve South AirFly Drive

Anyone who has a touchscreen in their car knows that CarPlay and Android Auto are not always reliable. So Twelve South aimed to fix that with this USB device that works just like its AirFly for connecting wireless headphones via Bluetooth to airplane seatback screens.

3) Apple Watch Ultra 4

Longer battery life (50 hours), an improved Health Sensing System, and a new Readiness feature make the new Apple Watch Ultra 4 the best Ultra yet.

4) Mountain Hardwear Free Element Jacket

Utilizing the brand's new ThermoCloud synthetic insulation, this packable synthetic down jacket is a light-as-air option that can be an outer layer for mild days and a versatile midlayer for colder ones.

5) Sonos Beam Ultra

No soundbar can match the blend of sound quality, versatility, and price point that comes with Sonos' new Beam Ultra. You get nine drivers delivering sound that can easily fill a large living room. "What's amazing about Beam Ultra is how full-range the sound is," says fitness director Eb Samuel, CSCS. "I thought I might need a sub, but paired with Era 100s, it's powerful enough."

Samuel says it delivers deep, rich sound on songs like Michael Jackson's "Beat It," and explosive bass during movies like Avengers: Endgame. Oh, and it does all that for just $699.

6) Nike Alphafly 4

The Nike Alphafly 4 is lighter, faster, and more comfortable than the previous generation. For senior fitness editor Brett Williams, NASM (who will be wearing the Alphafly 4 in the NYC Marathon), "The biggest update for me was in the fit—thanks to the new upper, which feels secure, but less constrictive."

7) Logitech Pro X3 Superstrike Wireless Gaming Mouse

If you're a gamer like some of the Men's Health editors, then you're probably aware that the end of 2026 has been one of the most exciting times for gaming in a while. New releases from Halo and Gears of War just dropped, but on the horizon is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and GTA 6 . This new mouse is an easy way to elevate your game so you can help your squad out even more.

8) Porsche x WonderFold Luxury Stroller Wagon

"My other stroller is a Porsche," says fitness and reviews editor Charles Thorp, NASM. This new collaboration between Porsche and WonderFold, one of the best stroller wagon makers around, is one of the coolest things to come to toddler transportation in a while. As Thorp says, "It doesn't just look good either; there is a lot of functionality here, with cup holders, all-weather covering, and plenty of pockets."

9) Sony ULT Field 5

Ready to elevate your garage gym speakers? The new line of Sony ULTs don't just bring the bass; they are easy to use and easy to transport. And they even come with their own little light show if you're looking to bring a bit of fun to the weight room.

10) Nocs Provisions Portal AFN7 Adventure Camera

Lo-fi adventure cameras are all the rage lately. And Nocs Provisions came out with a handy screen-free one that can even utilize a pair of its binoculars for zoomed-in shots. Offering the digital download of your shots, this one is also IP-56 weather rated so you can bring it on any journey and not have to worry about ruining it.

11) Coast QB2R

Coast not only makes superior lighting products, but it's also honed the voice-controlled outdoor lighting realm better than others. The latest example of that is the QB2R, which is a utility light (in every sense of the word) that comes with the brand's signature voice control. It's magnetic, pivots 360 degrees, is USB-C rechargeable, can be mounted on a tripod, has a carabiner hook, and spits out 2,000 lumens with a beam distance of up to 57 meters.

12) Norda x Raide LF 2L Running Belt

If you're not a fan of running vests, then a belt will probably be your next best bet. Norda teamed up with Raide to bring one that's got plenty of storage with two large pockets and a sectioned pouch to keep things organized. And four flexible plastic stays and a 3-millimeter foam cushion in the rear pocket aid in keeping bounce to a minimum.

13) Tracksmith Van Cortlandt Jacket

We're starting to get into the 40s at night now, which means after-work and early-morning runs are a bit chillier. Tracksmith's newest solution is the Van Cortlandt Jacket, a mesh-lined option for training that keeps things light and breezy (while keeping the breeze at bay).

14) PlayStation Marvel's Wolverine PS5

Grand Theft Auto VI is still a few weeks away. Need something to play until then? Sony's got you covered by letting you play as the Wolverine. This brawler of a game keeps things simple, letting you focus on action and visceral combat with destructible environments and plenty of blood. "The best part," says Samuel, "is that it gets Wolverine's fast-healing ability right, letting you bounce back from tough moments in fun ways." And hey, can any true MH fan pass up playing as the only superhero who has a peptide named after him? We think not.

15) Garmin Enduro 4

Garmin's longest-lasting GPS watch with solar charging gets a new model in the Enduro 4. Designed for long endurance races, it offers up to 320 hours of battery life in activity mode (or up to 90 days in smartwatch mode). It also has 50 percent more RAM than the Enduro 3, making it more powerful, faster, and smoother than ever.

16) Helly Hansen LifaLoft Hooded Insulator

Helly Hansen's proprietary LifaLoft insulation gets a construction upgrade with 40 percent higher loft than the previous version. I wore this jacket in Norway in the late spring this year and on one of the cooler, rainier days it did well keeping me warm and dry (the face fabric is a 20D recycled ripstop nylon). I also enjoy that the zip goes a little higher up than most packable jackets, really helping to provide full neck coverage.

17) Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra

Yes, Apple's foldable is getting all the hype. But very quietly, Samsung, which is on its eighth iteration of a foldable phone, has delivered a device that's thinner and lighter than anything on the market with an ultra-sturdy hinge and zero sign of a crease. Samuel has followed Samsung's foldables since the beginning, and he loves this one. "It's a truly complete device," he says, "great for watching movies and TV on during plane trips." Underrated about the device is its camera. "The photos are always crisp and clear," says Samuel, "and they look great on my Instagram page."
