Best known for making comfortable, runner-focused technical apparel since 2013, Rabbit has carved out a niche by focusing on fit, feel and appearance.

The Southern California brand's latest running shoe, the EZ Chaser, may unintentionally pay homage to a classic Nike silhouette with its knit, multi-colored upper, but it also brings enhanced cushioned and modern style to the capable sneaker.

Veteran runners and Nike fans may remember 2016's multi-colored Flyknit Racer, whose upper featured a striking knit fabric designed for lightweight performance.

Rabbit's brand-new EZ Chaser, designed for recovery runs and maintenance miles, doesn't explicitly reference the Flyknit Racer as its inspiration, but its Adrenaline Rush Multi colorway bears a striking resemblance to the Swoosh's iconic design.

While the two uppers look eerily alike, that is where the similarities end. The EZ Chaser features a generous amount of pillowy-soft Flowstate Foam underfoot, providing moderate cushioning and a super soft ride.

Rabbit's contoured Blumaka insole is crafted with 85 percent recycled ETPU and guaranteed to last 1,000 miles.

That plush foam is paired with a padded, perforated Lycra tongue and a stretchy gusset for smoother strides. Below deck, the sticky gum rubber outsole is designed for excellent grip over long miles.

At 9.14 ounces for a men's 9/women's 10.5 and built for relaxed efforts rather than race day, the EZ Chaser is light enough for daily runs while the 5mm drop keeps things stable.

The laid-back, unisex daily trainer is also available in a core Black Multi colorway, while the more vibrant Adrenaline Rush Multi is labeled as a seasonal option.

The EZ Chaser is available now on Rabbit's website, retailing for a reasonable $160.
