The HurryCane Is The Balance Aid You Need, If You Hate The Idea Of A Cane

Many factors can make walking and balancing challenging at any point in life, and mobility aids can be an essential asset to maintaining independence. Whether you're recovering from an injury or have simply lost some stability with age, a cane can be a valuable investment, especially for ambulatory use. That being said, not all canes are created equal, and an astounding number of reviewers are making a stong case for the HurryCane — an assistive tool that's there when you need it and gone when you don't.
Built for ergonomic comfort, with a sturdy and reliable construction, according to many, the HurryCane surpasses your standard canes because it's completely collapsible. With just one touch of a button, it folds to one-third its size and weighs only a pound, so it can fit in bags, planes, and cars with impressive ease.
But don't be fooled because, "despite the fact that it folds, the HurryCane is very supportive and it does not feel like you are compromising stability for compactness," one Amazon customer claimed .
This all-purpose cane is height-adjustable, with a 30.5– 37.5 inch range. "This cane held up fantastically, being adjustable allowed me to put it to the perfect height so I wouldn't have to walk incorrectly with it," one reviewer wrote .

For even greater adaptable stability, the HurryCane features a three-point contact base that allows it to stand freely on its own across a variety of surfaces and terrains. That means you can step away from your cane at any point and come right back to it without having to bend down and pick it up or lean it on anything.
There's also a pivot design where the end of the cane meets the base, almost like an ankle in a socket, which allows for greater range of motion and, as one reviewer pointed out, "make[s] walking more natural."

Promising Amazon reviews:
" Best cane EVER! Love it so much! Wow, this cane is my new best friend. I highly recommend it. I am waiting for a hip replacement so walking is hard. My HurryCane is adjustable to the right height, is solid and steadying but light weight, is easy to collapse and then snap back into full size. It's also attractive! Because it collapses, it fits into the bag on my walker so I can have it with me when I need to go somewhere without my walker. I love that the base is steady so it can stand on its own where. I can't say how happy I was to have it for a recent trip walking all over Europe. Get this one!" — Going for Joy
" The HurryCane is my favorite, all-purpose cane because it is comfortable to grip, lightweight, pivots to make walking more natural, and will stand on its own, with careful placement on select flooring. I own 4 canes, and I've had some experience with them over the years for various injuries, most recently a broken leg. This is the cane I always select when I am going out, to doctor's appointments, etc. The HurryCane folds easily, although you have to be careful; I pinched a finger when I first tried it. Despite the fact that it folds, the HurryCane is very supportive and it does not feel like you are compromising stability for compactness. The only negative is that the HurryCane does not stand up on its own as well as advertised; it will not stand up on gravel or uneven flooring, such as travertine and most carpets. With careful placement, it will stand on level surfaces, such as wood floors and flat tile, but sometimes it still falls over in this setting. However, the ability to have the HurryCane stand alone allows you to use both hands for something else (like finding that item at the bottom of your purse). Another incredibly useful feature is that if it falls, you can carefully stand on the base to make it stand back up. So although the HurryCane doesn't always stand up, it is so handy that it still rates 5 stars." — AY in NY (This review has been edited for length. Read the full review .)
"I'm a pretty heavy guy and I had bought this cane to help me during a time in my life where I was having a health issue and couldn't walk properly. This cane held up fantastically, being adjustable allowed me to put it to the perfect height so I wouldn't have to walk incorrectly with it. The fact that it folded up made it really convenient when I needed to store it in a bag or just tuck it away while at work. I honestly still have it in my car just in case I'm going somewhere that I have to stand for an extended period and I need the support. I had a great experience with this cane." — Anthony R.
"This walking cane has been a great purchase. It's lightweight but feels very sturdy and secure when walking. The foldable design makes it easy to store or take along when traveling, and the standing base is very convenient because it doesn't fall over easily. The handle is comfortable to grip, and the adjustable height made it simple to customize. Overall, it provides excellent support and stability while still being easy to carry around. Highly recommend for anyone needing extra balance and mobility support." — Stan Eastman
