Ghost's New Costco Variety Pack: Fans Split on Flavors

Ghost has launched a new variety pack available at Costco. The pack of 18 cans reportedly goes for $27, which comes to $1.50 per can. As an avid Ghost drinker I can tell you that you won't find that price anywhere shopping for cans on an individual basis.
The 18-pack contains their Blue Raspberry, Welch's Grape-Cran, and Strawbango flavors. This brings us to the main drawback of variety packs, odds are there's going to be something inside that you don't like. It's rare that you're going to like every flavor that a company offers, so variety packs are a luck of the draw.
The online discourse seems to center on fans' displeasure with the Strawbango flavor's inclusion. Notably, this is the second time Strawbango has been included in a variety pack. A previous Ghost offering had Strawbango, 'Merica Pop, and Electric Limeade. It's a tough thing for Ghost to navigate, since everyone is going to have different tastes. One would assume they use sales data to influence their decisions. But if they're listening, personally speaking, I can say that Sour Strips, Welch's Grape, and Welch's Grape-Cran are the best (wink wink).
Variety packs are always a bit of a gamble, and Ghost's new Costco offering is no exception. At $1.50 a can, the price is hard to beat, and for most fans the savings will outweigh a flavor or two that misses the mark. If Strawbango isn't your thing, you can always trade it off to a friend who likes it. And if you're a Ghost devotee, this pack is still a good value for stocking up on your favorites, even if you're stuck with a few cans you'd rather skip.
