Why are Saatva mattresses worth buying?
Few mattress brands have impressed us as consistently as Saatva. My team and I have tested more than 250 mattresses, surveyed over 10,000 mattress owners, and analyzed responses to more than 180,000 mattress-related questions.
The Saatva Classic has remained one of my top recommendations. The brand's mattresses have earned consistent praise from our at-home consumer testersfor their quality craftsmanship, top-notch support, and impeccable customer service. Saatva also stands out for its free white-glove delivery, which includes full-service setup plus mattress removal, and 365-day sleep trial(minus a $99 pickup fee if things don't work out).
Note: I've seen consistent price increases from the brand (sometimes even multiple within a single year), so if you're in the market, I recommend purchasing while on sale. We've seen the best deals around major shopping holidays, like Memorial Day, Labor Day, Black Friday, or Cyber Monday.
What is the best Saatva mattress?
While your personal preferences come first, our favorite is the Classic Mattress , which is also the brand's most popular model. It's a luxury innerspring bed that feels like an upgraded version of the mattress you grew up with. While most innerspring mattresses we've seen tend to be either a bit cheap or very expensive, this one hits the sweet spot in terms of price while still delivering excellent quality. One of our at-home sleep testers even said that sleeping on the Saatva Classic gave them "the best sleep" they've ever had.
Throughout the past decade of testing, the Classic Mattress has been a front-runner across all categories for its comfort, support, and positive impact on overall sleep quality.
One tester called it "just the right amount of plush," while another said it was "not too firm, yet not too squishy." Others praised its exceptional support: One exclaimed, "I wake up with no [lower] back pain!"
You can choose from three firmness levels, making it easier to find the right feel for your sleep style, though some testers found it ran a bit firmer than expected. It also earned top praise for its edge support and breathable design.
Can you return a Saatva mattress?
Yes. Saatva offers a generous 365-day sleep trial, which gives you plenty of time to see if the mattress is right for you. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you can schedule a return and receive a full refund—minus a $99 pickup fee.
