Aldi’s New $5 Holiday Kitchen Find Looks Like It Came From Crate & Barrel

When the holiday season rolls around, the urge to decorate is almost irresistible. After all, who doesn't want to fill their home with holiday cheer ? But in the kitchen, you don't want to take up precious counter space needed for holiday meal prepping and Christmas cookie baking with holiday decor. Because while that decorative snowman statue is adorable, it's in the way of preparing dinner.

That's why you need festive yet functional kitchen decor. Think: Santa-shaped spatulas, Dutch ovens decorated with holly leaves, Grinch-themed bakeware , or kitchen towels covered in Christmas patterns. High-end brands like Williams Sonoma or Crate & Barrel carry plenty of these items, which are pretty but not exactly cheap.

Aldi's Crofton Oven Mitt Holiday Towel Set

Between baking, cooking, and trying to prevent the spread of illness, the holidays call for a lot of handwashing. And thanks to Aldi's newest week of Finds, you can dry off in style with the new Crofton Oven Mitt Holiday Towel Set , perfect for winter.

The Aldi towels have a woven or stitched appearance and come in three patterns, including a fir tree pattern that looks nearly identical to a set of Crate & Barrel's holiday towels—except for the price tag.

The tree-patterned set includes two towels: one green towel with white trees and one white towel with green trees. There is also a snowflake set with a blue towel covered in white snowflakes and a reverse version, plus a striped set with one white and green towel and one white and red towel. While the stripes feel very Christmas-themed, the trees and snowflakes can carry you through the rest of winter.

Best of all, each Aldi towel set is $4.99. By comparison, Crate & Barrel's set of two Winter Trees towels costs $24.95. For that price, you can buy all three Aldi sets and still have $10 left over, compared with buying one set from the brand name. C&B's trees are definitely bigger, but so is the cost. Trust us, the tree size won't keep the Aldi ones from looking just as good next to your kitchen sink. Plus, C&B doesn't offer other patterns.

While it's still early for Christmas shopping and decorating, you can grab one, two, or all three towel sets as part of Aldi Finds week, which runs from Nov. 4 through Nov. 10. That way, whether you start decorating for the holidays the day after Halloween or wait until after Thanksgiving, you'll be prepared with these festive towels.
