Every once in a while, when browsing a discount department store, you'll come across something you'll feel incredibly lucky to have found. For me, it's basically anything Le Creuset.

The French cookware brand is beloved for a reason—not only is it considered one of the best on the market, but it's also timelessly gorgeous. These are staple pieces, the kind you'll want to keep out on your counters and stovetop for all to see. And if you're lucky enough to get your hands on one of their seasonal products, then it's all the better.

So naturally, when I saw T.J. Maxx was selling a Le Creuset 2.25-Quart Enameled Cast Iron Snowflake Signature Braiser , my jaw dropped. Because as far as holiday cookware goes, this might just be one of the very best.

This gorgeous braiser, which was made in France, is cast iron and compatible with all stovetops, including induction. It's dishwasher safe (though hand washing is recommended) and oven safe, and as long as you take good care of it, it should last you a long time, especially since the enamel resists dulling, staining, chipping and cracking.

But the most stunning part of this braiser is probably how it actually looks. It's a deep blue (in a shade Le Creuset calls Marseille), and the lid is decorated to look like a snowflake around its silver knob, with stars and sparkles speckling the edges. It is truly the epitome of Christmas cookware.

This pan is part of Le Creuset's Noël Collection , which includes matching Dutch ovens and mini cocottes . That being said, Le Creuset's site currently doesn't have the snowflake braiser, which means if you want it, you'll want to snatch it up wherever you can—and since TJ Maxx only keeps things in stock until they sell out, you may want to grab this one sooner rather than later. Who knows how much longer this one will be available.

Good luck—and may your holiday dinners be merry this Christmas season.
