For several years now, one of the best dress watches on the market has been the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon.
The "MUT Moon," as it's known in enthusiast circles, combines an ultra-thin case with a classically elegant design and the most romantic of complications, a moonphase display, all packed into an extremely wearable 36mm case.
Any time JLC adds a new reference to the MUT Moon line, the brand basically creates an excuse for collectors to go out and buy a dress watch, and now it's time to open the wallets again thanks to an all-new pink gold version.

You may be thinking, wait, I thought there already was a pink gold version of the MUT Moon? And you'd be correct. But that version was in the older, larger 39mm case. The new version brings pink gold to the smaller 36mm case, combining elegance and wearability like never before.
The polished 18K pink gold case is combined with the usual silver colored dial and is complemented by pink gold dauphine hands and trapezoidal indices, with a blued seconds hand matching the starry blue sky of the moonphase.

The moonphase complication, which is encircled by a date track, is driven by the in-house JLC Calibre 925. Visible behind a sapphire caseback, the movement is classically decorated and wound with an open-worked 22K pink gold rotor. The calibre has a 70-hour power reserve.
The most remarkable thing about the movement, naturally, is its thinness. The watch, despite being an automatic with a sapphire caseback and 50m of water resistance, measures just 9.3mm thick, living up to its "Ultra Thin" moniker.

The Master Ultra Thin Moon Pink Gold is sold on a black alligator leather strap with an interchangeable pin buckle in 18K pink gold. It's available now from Jaeger-LeCoultre for $23,100.
