If you need a budget-friendly outer layer for brisk walks and windy hikes, this sale at Shoebacca is worth checking out. Right now, the retailer is selling River's End Women's Soft Shell Jackets for just $13. It comes in two colors, Grey and Red, and women's sizes small through XXXL.
Shoebacca has the strikethrough price listed as $80, which may be a touch inflated, but the current $13 price tag is a great deal. Finding a softshell jacket that's both water-resistant and fleece-lined for that price would be hard to do, even at retailers like Walmart and Target.
Want the men's version? Shoebacca is selling River's End Men's Soft Shell Jackets for the same low price of $13. At the time of publication, they're available in the color Black and men's sizes medium through 5XL. There's also an XLT size available.
The jacket features 5003mm water resistance and 3000mm breathability. It has 4-way stretch and elbow articulation for ease of movement. The stand-up collar with a zipper chin guard provides extra coverage from the elements. The cozy fleece lining keeps you warm, while the adjustable drawcord hem and banded elastic cuffs help to keep out the cold. There are two zippered hand pockets and one zippered chest pocket.
There are only two reviews for this zip-up jacket, but both of them give it a perfect five-star rating. One buyer says it's a "great price for a durable jacket," and the other says their "daughter loves it."
