How to Buy Air Jordan 6 ‘White Infrared’: SNKRS, Retailers

The Air Jordan 6 is extremely hot right now, and you can tell by the interest in just about every Air Jordan 6 you can think of, including ones that have been out for years, as well as some of the upcoming releases like the White Infrared.

Part of the reason for that surge in popularity is the upcoming re-release on November 7.

Because of that high level of interest, if you want a pair of the new release, which features Nike Air on the heel, you're going to have to be ready on the SNKRS app at 9 a.m. Central Time, which is 10 a.m. Eastern Time, to have an opportunity to get that first run.

Lately, we've seen some fairly coveted Air Jordans available at retail stores upon release, but I wouldn't bank on that if this is a shoe you really want.

I would try my hand at the SNKRS app first, and if you're unsuccessful, you need a Plan B and Plan C. I would reach out to some of my favorite retailers to find out whether or not I could secure a pair.

Let's look deeper into the shoe and its availability. Let's talk sneakers.

Air Jordan 6 White Infrared Key Facts

The Air Jordan 6 "White Infrared" carries style code CT8529-105 and costs $215 in men's sizes and $155 in grade school. It pairs a mostly white leather upper with black on the top of the tongue, and the infrared hits land on the Jumpman, the lace lock and the lining of the heel spoiler.

It's a general release rather than a limited drop. One listing shows a Nov. 6 drop field alongside the Nov. 7 date, so confirm the date in the SNKRS app the week of release.

If you're unsuccessful getting the Air Jordan 6 White Infrared from the SNKRS app, I would head into a store.

I would check with Foot Locker, DTLR, and sometimes some of the boutiques or smaller sneaker shops in your local area might give you an opportunity to get a pair. Mind you, you may have to pay a little above retail if that's the case.

If you still miss out and you really want this look, but you're okay without having Nike Air on the heel, you can take a look at some of the previously released versions on StockX and GOAT. Those should be a little more affordable and available once the newer version hits retail.
