EXCLUSIVE: Nomasei Invites E.L.V. Denim as Guest in Second London Pop-up, Eyes Permanent Paris Store

PARIS — For its second pop-up in London, Nomasei has invited a local friend to join its temporary Notting Hill home, running from Nov. 12 to 22. British sustainable label E.L.V. Denim, launched by former fashion editor Anna Foster, will have a three-day residency kicking off on Nov. 19 that will include an evening of styling of its pieces with the French brand's footwear. Once more located at 2 Blenheim Crescent, a 500-square-foot space located opposite the bookstore made famous by the 1999 romantic comedy "Notting Hill" starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant, the Nomasei pop-up will offer a range of styles, from its bestselling Nono loafers to the relaunched lace-up Slalom winter booties, its first shoe made in Portugal. "It's always this idea of meeting people, particularly those with whom we share values and a common approach to product," cofounder Marine Braquet told WWD. But she sees such occasions also as a form of self care. "It's a moment between women where discussions flow, there's empathy," she added. "It goes beyond a desire to team up with another brand; it's about being with others and taking care of yourself." The London pop-up also shows the growing importance in Nomasei's business of the U.K. market,
