You can take the Hoka off the trails but not the other way around, it seems.

Founded in 2009 by two former Salomon employees hellbent on shaking up the trail-running industry, Hoka now makes dozens of models for runners, moms, nurses, chefs, hypebeasts and everyone in between.

However, even its most urban-focused designs showcase the brand's expertise in off-roading.

New for 2026, the Tor Summit FLD is a lifestyle sneaker based on Hoka's retro Alpine-inspired silhouette , the Tor Summit.

Instead of a nubuck-leather upper, though, it uses a combination of canvas panels and suede overlays that Hoka calls an "homage to tactical workwear."

The latest colorway, "Antique Olive," is the truest representation of that yet, following up on a trio of launch colorways that ranged from black to "Orbital Pink." Here, muted shades of green with tonal hardware that includes metal speedhooks.

The effect further grounds the Tor Summit FLD into its military-surplus-adjacent aesthetic, shared by the recently revived Air Force 1 Low '07 "Cargo Khaki" and trend Adidas BW-Army .

That said, the bottom half of the model upholds Hoka's trail-ready credentials, thanks to a Vibram Megagrip outsole with aggressive lugging.

Availability and pricing

The Tor Summit FLD "Antique Olive" is available now from Hoka's official website and select third-party stockists.

It retails for $200, representing a small price cut compared to the Tor Summit.
