Amazon Is Packed With Lego Deals Ahead of Black Friday—Some on Sets Nearing Retirement
"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links."
A new Lego set makes the perfect gift, especially for those who are notoriously difficult to shop for. They require a little bit of everything: creativity, ingenuity, and perhaps most difficult of all, patience.
Some of the best Lego sets don't always come cheap, but Amazon's secret Lego section proves otherwise. The internet's best hidden gem is loaded with deals on some of our favorite sets, a few of which are on the cusp of retirement. Better yet, it looks like it got another revamp.
We're seeing sales on some seriously sought-after Lego sets. I'm not talking about discounts on any ol' sets, either: They're some of the most popular Lego has to offer—and favorites amongst our editors. Think Star Wars , Harry Potter , and Nintendo , almost 40 percent off. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
We've rounded up some of our favorite Lego deals below, but don't forget to bookmark this page; we'll update it periodically. Lego FOMO is a real thing (I know, because I have it).
Best Amazon Lego Deals
1) Lego 'Star Wars' Millennium Falcon
You'd be hard-pressed to find a PopMech list without some version of the Millennium Falcon featured somewhere. Fortunately, one of our favorite sets is once again on sale, and this super-affordable option is much more palatable than some previous Falcon sets, which were priced at close to $1,000. This is a smaller 921-piece set, obviously, but a great sub-$100 option for collectors.
2) Lego Star Wars Smart Play: Throne Room Duel & A-Wing Set
Smart Bricks just came out this year, and I haven't seen them on sale—until now. This is a smart, tech-integrated version of one of Lego's most iconic Star Wars scenes, and it's now 20 percent off. It features Vader's legendary battle with his son Luke, while the villainous Emperor Palpatine watches from his throne. It also plays the Imperial March, which is objectively awesome.
3) Lego Star Wars: Ahsoka Chopper (C1-10P)
We love a good droid, and this C1-10P is one of the latest and greatest. If you're a fan of the show, it's a must-have, and if you're a droid collector, even better. This 1,000+ piece set is perfect for adult builders, and hopper's arms and his center wheel are fully detachable, so builders can display him in different ways.
4) Lego Speed Champions Mercedes-AMG G 63 & Mercedes-AMG SL 63 F1 Toy Car
We had to include a car set, and nearly 40 percent off the popular Lego Mercedes dual set made this a no-brainer. This is ideal for aspiring engineers or mechanics, featuring authentic features, real-opening doors, and two driver minifigures. When it comes to interactive sets, this should be at or near the top of your list.
5) Lego Pokémon Eevee
I genuinely did not think I'd see one of the new Pokémon sets on sale in my lifetime. This is one of the less expensive ones, but an essential, nonetheless. And hey, 22 percent off is 22 percent off. Eevee's popularity continues to soar with every new TCG drop featuring an Eeveelution (like the upcoming 30th anniversary set), so you can put aside a little of those savings and put them towards market-price cards. If you can even find those...
6) Lego K-pop Demon Hunters Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird
I'm a sucker for anything semi-cat-related, and well, tigers fall into that category. The anime twist is just the icing on the cake. K-pop Demon Hunters is all the rage, and it has the Lego sets to prove it. And at a 90-day low price, we'd take that any day of the week.
7) Lego Marvel Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman
Amazon has a knack for discounting sets when something is trending. Spider-Man fits that bill, with the latest movie hitting theaters a couple of months ago. This isn't a Brand New Day set, but it's nonetheless pretty sick. It's one of the top-rated Marvel sets on Amazon, and it's now at a 365-day low. And with the new Avengers film around the corner, you can't go wrong, especially if Tobey Maguire's Spidey makes his rumored appearance.
8) Lego Botanicals Flower Arrangement
The holidays are right around the corner, and you can never go wrong gifting flowers. They also don't have to be real. Lego flower arrangements are arguably more thoughtful, especially for a Lego fanatic. Plus, they won't ever wilt, which is always a good thing. We'd consider those baked-in savings.
9) Lego Disney Moana 2 Heihei
Disney fans will not be disappointed with this one. This is a posable set, so you can turn his head and arms and adjust his tail feathers for different looks. The 566-piece set comes with a stand, decorative flowers, and a nameplate for display purposes.
10) Lego Icons Back to The Future Delorean Set
This set is surprisingly hard to come by. It's been rereleased in recent years, but I couldn't get my hands on it for a while. Not only is it available on Amazon, but it's even on sale. It's one of the pricier options on this list, but we'll take the $30 off any day of the week. We love the 80s nostalgia—not to mention the only opportunity to get Christopher Lloyd in minifigure form. That right there is priceless.
