A new Lego set makes the perfect gift, especially for those who are notoriously difficult to shop for. They require a little bit of everything: creativity, ingenuity, and perhaps most difficult of all, patience.
Some of the best Lego sets don't always come cheap, but Amazon's secret Lego section begs to differ. It's loaded with some of the most sought-after sets, some of which are on the cusp of retirement. Better yet, it looks like it got another revamp.
Labor Day weekend savings are in full swing, and we're seeing major deals on some seriously sought-after Lego sets. I'm not talking discounts on any ol' sets, either: They're some of the most popular Lego has to offer—and favorites amongst our editors. Think Star Wars , Harry Potter , and Nintendo , almost 40 percent off. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

1) Lego Star Wars: A New Hope Tantive IV
While the Millennium Falcon is undoubtedly Star Wars' most iconic ship, the Tantive IV holds its own. And much like Solo's classic speed demon, the Tantive IV even made its way into the sequel series. If you're looking to start a collection of starships, this is a must-have for collectors. It also helps to save a few bucks.
2) Lego 'Star Wars' Millennium Falcon
You'd be hard-pressed to find a PopMech list without some version of the Millennium Falcon featured somewhere. Fortunately, one of our favorite sets is once again on sale, and this super-affordable option is much more palatable than some previous Falcon sets, which were priced at close to $1,000. This is a smaller 921-piece set, obviously, but a great sub-$100 option for collectors.

I genuinely did not think I'd see one of the new Pokémon sets on sale in my lifetime. This is one of the less expensive ones, but an essential, nonetheless. And hey, 22 percent off is 22 percent off. Eevee's popularity continues to soar with every new TCG drop featuring an Eeveelution (like the upcoming 30th anniversary set), so you can put aside a little of those savings and put them towards market-price cards. 5) Lego Speed Champions Mercedes-AMG G 63 & Mercedes-AMG SL 63 F1 Toy Car
We had to include a car set, and nearly 40 percent off the popular Lego Mercedes dual set made this a no-brainer. This is ideal for aspiring engineers or mechanics, featuring authentic features, real-opening doors, and two driver minifigures. When it comes to interactive sets, this should be at or near the top of your list.
6) Lego Batman Forever Batmobile Toy
Who doesn't love freaking Batman? I covered this set when it first came out (why wouldn't I?), and I never thought it would go on sale. Batman Forever has one of the most iconic on-screen Batmobiles to this day, and it looks just as cool as a Lego set. In fact, it looks basically identical. The 909-piece set is a must-have for collectors, especially those with a robust Batmobile collection already. You can never have too much.
7) Lego Icons Back to The Future Delorean Set
This set is surprisingly hard to come by. It's been rereleased in recent years, but I couldn't get my hands on it for a while. Not only is it available on Amazon, but it's even on sale. It's one of the pricier options on this list, but we'll take the $30 off any day of the week. We love the 80s nostalgia—not to mention the only opportunity to get Christopher Lloyd in minifigure form. That right there is priceless.
8) Lego Marvel Epic Battle: Spider-Man vs. Sandman
Amazon has a knack for discounting sets when something is trending. Spider-Man fits that bill, with the latest movie hitting theaters a few weeks ago. This isn't a Brand New Day set, but it's pretty cool in its own right. It features Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man facing off against his villainous counterparts from Spider-Man 3 : Venom and Sandman. This is also pretty relevant; Maguire's Spider-Man is rumored to make an appearance in the new Avengers film.
9) Lego "Harry Potter" Mandrake Figure & Pot Plant Toy
Harry Potter fans can get something a little more subdued, thanks to over 25 percent off this buildable model set. This 579-piece set features the infamous screaming plant from the series, making it a similarly great centerpiece option with a magical twist. This is a must-have for Potter fans, especially if they're looking for something to display subtly.
10) Lego DC Batman Construction Figure & The Bat-Pod Bike
This is another great Batman set, especially for those looking for a slight departure from the standard minifigure. Of course, any fan of Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy can be lumped into that group. It makes for a great display piece and, at just over $50, is a lot cheaper than some of the other Batman collectibles we've come across.
