Lego Speed Champions Time Machine from Back to the Future, $22

Why We Love This Deal
Back to the Future turned a modified DeLorean into one of the most iconic cars in movie history, right down to the flux capacitor and the 88 mph threshold that made time travel possible. Forty years after the original movie, Lego has built that same car into its Speed Champions lineup. And right now, you can get the set for less than $25.
The Lego Speed Champions Time Machine from Back to the Future Set is available for $22 at Walmart. If you're a more seasoned builder looking for something beefier, the Icons version of the set has 1,856 pieces and might be a better challenge. Otherwise, this is a great set to build with the kids and a way to introduce them to iconic Sci-Fi films.

What Shoppers Should Know
-
Pieces:357
-
Minifigures:Doc Brown, Marty McFly
-
Build Modes:2 (1985 DeLorean, flying "Part II" version)
-
Best For:Fans of the movie, Lego collectors, birthday gifts, display pieces
Both young and seasoned builders get two builds out of one set here, since the model swaps between the lighting rod and California plate version of the DeLorean from the first film and the Mr. Fusion, sideways-wheel version from the sequel. Both configurations have small details specific to the movies, like the flux capacitor and time calculator on the dash. You also get two minifigs depicting Doc Brown and Marty McFly.
This is basically the (much) more affordable version of the Icons set , which retails for $171. That makes this Speed Champions version more of an entry point for younger builders or a display piece for fans who don't want to drop serious cash. That said, if you're a dedicated builder, the Icons set is definitely worth it.
