I Test Toys for a Living—35 Prime Day Deals to Shop Before Midnight
"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links."
Some people wait until Black Friday or Cyber Monday to tackle most of their holiday shopping. Personally, I'd rather not take the risk. What if the toys at the top of my kids' wish lists aren't on sale—or worse, they're already sold out? I'd rather shop early for peace of mind, but as a mom on a budget, I'm always looking for the best prices.
Amazon's October Prime Day ends today, and I'm still spotting up to 60% off on a bunch of toys, including some that won a Good Housekeeping Toy Award . A few cool new toys are also on sale and sure to be popular this holiday season, like the PAW Patrol Megasaurus Dino Vehicle , which comes with a fun inflatable dinosaur. As a toy editor, I predict this one will be hard to find at the holidays, so you might want to snag it while it is 23% off.

The older the kids get, the more expensive their wish lists seem. But while gaming systems and tech can get pricey, affordable options like this STEM learning robot can help them learn code. I've even found a LEGO set for under $40 that can be used to build not one, but three different animals. And my college student daughter and her friends love these Sticki Rolls , a wearable bracelet DIY kit with shareable stickers.
