Lewis and Christian were cut from the active roster on Monday and cleared waivers on Tuesday. Lewis, 41, has said this will be his final year in the NFL , and he'll hope to go on a deep run this postseason.
The Broncos poached Christian (6-5, 302 pounds) off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad in November. The 29-year-old veteran originally entered the league with Washington as a third-round pick out of Louisville in 2018. He has spent time with eight NFL teams, starting 25 games.
