But it's kind of funny.

I kinda-- I slept on it, and it's about 24 hours later, and I kind of had the same feelings I had yesterday.

I, I agree.

I feel like it was a win-win, and I feel like it was fair compensation.

And the Ty Simpson of it all, I even, I even said this yesterday, it makes more sense and less sense at the same time.

where it's like, you know, kind of being truly all, like all in would've been drafting Reuben Bane or drafting- Yeah Makai Lemon- One of the receivers, yeah or Den- or, or receiver, KC Concepcion, like somebody else in the first round.

That's truly all in.

But the Ty Simpson thing made a little more sense now of why they took a guy now, because then the 2027 pick becomes movable, which it, they used in a great way, I think, to keep that pick free.

So it's kinda, I don't wanna say a half measure, but it's kind of one of those things where it made a little bit more sense, at least to me, even if the Simpson pick is still I, I've, I've talked- Well- enough about it.

I think people know where I sit on that, so.

I, I think, I think if I can, if I can like pull your train of thought on this one- Yeah I think it would make sense if we all had conviction about Ty Simpson as like a top 15 pick at quarterback.

Correct.

You know?

Correct.

C- they-- If they had taken a, a guy of like Fernando Mendoza's talent level, right?

Again, like a consensus- Yeah top like level quarterback, shoot, if they'd even take, you know, obviously taking like a Drake May type or something like that- at that lev- like, yeah, that would, we'd all be-- Like a guy that we all agree is one of the dudes, or even like a tier down from that.

But I think because that, like they have conviction.

So when you think about it from their perspective, they have conviction on Simpson being that guy.

We don't.

Yeah.

But to them, it just makes all the sense in the world that what they were able to do, and it is like the best of both worlds.

I think that's where it's just kind of lost in translation for us on the outside and why it is a little bit like, oh, y- our, our, our-- It's not really an all-in move what- it's whatsoever, but yeah, it, it, in that way it kind of, again, just in their perspective, up to, to their interpretation, it is in that way.
