Meantime, you know, it's Chris Foerster, it's Clay Kubiak, it's Raheem Morris, it's Brant Boyer, and it's, you know, in a lot of ways I think the veterans kinda letting everybody know that this is how we, we go about it.
What did, who was it?
Was it Trent Williams said, it's basically autopilot now.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, the locker room knows how to work on its own.
Right, right.
I mean, I think all of the training camp schedules, everything that goes on, is really set in s- stone prior to them reporting, prior to Kyle Shanahan's accident, so they know what they're doing.
These veterans know what they're doing, and also, Chris Foerster, who has been with Kyle Shanahan since the Washington team was called the Redskins, he Raheem Morris was with him s- And we'll bleep that out.
Raheem Morris has been with him since Tampa Bay.
They all know how the other person operates.
They know what is needed to be done.
There's not a big shift.
It's not, I mean, it's not going to be very noticeable that he is not running the larger team meetings, not noticeable to us.
He's not at, at the podium for us, but generally speaking, the practices are running as they have in the past.
They're going through their meetings as they have in the past.
Not much really changes except for the actual person in front of the larger team meetings.
Yeah, and it's, it's kinda s- probably sounds odd for you or feels odd for you to even say that- Mm-hmm nothing really changes with Kyle Shanahan- Right not taking on the full responsibilities.
Mm-hmm.
But, you know, what, what is clear is that, you know, Shanahan has done a very good job since he's been here of kind of pointing the team in the right direction.
Mm-hmm.
And he always has had a really good coaching staff.
Right.
Yeah, I mean, he's obviously had some changes at- Mm-hmm defensive coordinator a couple years where they didn't get that thing right, but only because he had two coordinators taken away from him for head coaching jobs.
But he, he does put a lot on his assistant coaches.
Mm-hmm.
He has an open door policy.
Anybody can come in with, with a play concept or anything else.
Mm-hmm.
He asks some tough questions in order for it to, to meet, the criteria to be installed in a game.
But where, where Shanahan excels and where his reputation is kinda at the highest as far as NFL coaches is for his ability to set up plays and call plays and kinda get into the rhythm of that.
And so, you know, unless he's u- not available for week one against the Rams, I don't think the 49ers will, as you mentioned, kinda I don't think they'll skip a beat- Right because all the preparation part of it, it is kind of like a self-working machine.
