You got a new shortstop, Skip.
Yep.
If you had to choose which play of his you, like the most.
Probably the double play.
His first defensive play as a big leaguer.
Yeah.
You had to go, so you had to range a little bit, so it wasn't a perfect hop to get, and then, you know, to turn that over was I think that was my favorite one so far.
What you've seen is tremendous defense he's played so far, feel like really competitive at bats.
Just a great kid, great makeup, great love of the game.
Like, that's always stood out about him, like how much he loves and respects and appreciates just all the stuff that goes with, you know, being a good player.
I, I feel like it's very hard to not like love it and to be great.
He checks all those boxes.
Sometimes kids get called up and you can tell the game speeds up on them.
Obviously it's only been a handful of games.
Mm-hmm.
But he seems to have a poise, like the game is still at his speed.
Yeah.
And then even the at bats, you know, some big walks, presence of mind to challenge both those pitches.
Like, the game doesn't feel like it- he's come to the majors and the game speed is different for him.
A- and I mean, that's what we've always known about George is, you know, the, the makeup side of things has been always been excellent.
