Bears Draft D.J. Moore Replacement in Latest NFL Mock Draft
With D.J. Moore gone, the Bears target a dynamic receiver in the latest mock draft, aiming to bolster Caleb Williams' arsenal.

It was pretty clear early on in the offseason the Bears had some work to do when it came to their cap space situation.
The Bears, before free agency even started, the Bears got some shocking news as center Drew Dalman announced his retirement from the NFL after five seasons.
He spent four of them with the Atlanta Falcons and joined the Bears in, free agency last offseason.
And in his first year with the, the Chicago Bears, he made the Pro Bowl.
While the news was obviously pretty shocking for the Bears and put them in a hole at center, it did free up some cap space as it granted them an, an additional ten million to use on free agents and a, rookies in the twenty twenty-six NFL Draft.
Then the Bears, made a tough decision as they decided it was time for, D.J.
Moore's tenure with the Bears to come to an end as they opted to trade him to the Buffalo Bills, for a second-round pick as they sent Buffalo a fifth-round pick in exchange plus more.
That move freed up sixteen and a half million in cap space, but now it, the Bears still have a hole at receiver, even though, Luther Burden could be very well equipped to kind of fill in the role that, D.J.
Moore had on Ben Johnson's offense as that, that yak receiver who could catch, passes behind the line of scrimmage and make things happen.
In, his most, recent NFL mock draft, Fox Sports' Joel Klatt, had the Bears actually picking a receiver in the first round of, April's draft, going with Arizona State wideout Jordan Tyson.
He believes Tyson could, be a great, target for Caleb Williams as someone who is, a very tall pass catcher and has proven to be, reliable throughout his college career.
Tyson started out at, Colorado in twenty twenty-two, just before Deion Sanders got there.
Then when Sanders arrived in Boulder, Tyson hit the transfer portal and landed at Arizona State, where he redshirted in twenty twenty-three.
Then in twenty twenty-four, he had a monster breakout season, finishing with over eleven hundred receiving yards.
Unfortunately, he was, he suffered an injury just before the, the Big Twelve championship game and was not able to play in that game or in the, the college bowl playoff game that Arizona State had against Texas either.
Then this season, his numbers did take a bit of a drop-off as he, dealt with hamstring issues that limited him to only play-- limited him to only nine games in twenty twenty-five, as he finished with over seven hundred receiving yards and eight touchdowns.
While it's, clear that Burden is in a, very good position to fill that role that Moore had, if the Bears do want to, draft a receiver, Tyson would not be a, a bad option by any sense of the word.
So we'll have to see what the Bears and, Ryan Poles end up doing with that twenty-five-- with that number twenty-five overall pick in April's draft in Pittsburgh.
