D.J. Moore Puts the Ball in the Bears' Court Amid Trade Rumors
Moore voices desire to stay with the Bears, but his hefty contract and potential cap relief leave his future uncertain in Chicago.

The Chicago Bears have an interesting, decision now that, D.J.
Moore has made a statement on the fut-- his future with the franchise.
Moore has been with the team since twenty twenty-three, as he was involved with that, trade just before the twenty twenty-three draft that gave the Carolina Panthers the number one overall pick that, had them select Bryce Young, in that year's draft.
Moore, was a very reliable option this season, especially when there was that key injury to Rome Odunze that kept him out for most of the second half of the season.
Moore stepped up in more ways than one.
His, his best-- one of his best games of the year was in that, twenty-two-sixteen overtime win against the Green Bay Packers, where he caught the game-winning touchdown in overtime.
The, there The problem with Moore is his contract is getting very expensive, as he has been linked to, there have been rumors that, he could be traded this off-season.
He's currently on a four-year, hundred ten million dollar deal that, will have him become an unrestricted free agent in twenty thirty.
The Bears will save sixteen point five million in cap space if they are able to get his contract off the books with a trade.
Moore, spoke at a recent interview and revealed just how much he would, love to come back to Chicago once his deal is up.
So, that definitely makes things interesting for the Bears going forward.
There are plenty of other, contracts that have expired this off-season, as the likes of Kevin Byard, Jaquan Brisker, Ole Miss' Zaccheaus, Braxton Jones, Theo Benedet, C.J.
Gardner-Johnson, Jonathan Owens and Nashon Wright are all set, are all set to, hit the free agent market after their deals have now expired with Chicago.
So we'll see what the, the franchise decides to do with Moore, whether that's keeping him around or trading him to get his contract off the books this off-season.
There can be a case made for both, as Moore has been a very reliable target in the, the receiving corps for Chicago.
