Casey, great to see you.

Congrats on the win, and good to have you on once again because, once again, you are absolutely raking, my friend.

Two for four tonight.

You now have seven straight games with multiple hits.

I'm running out of things to ask you, like did you eat your Wheaties today?

What is going on?

Ah, I mean, today, today was a, it was a, it was two bowls of, Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Okay.

All right.

And my stomach was hurting a little bit today- so we had a little bit of Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

How about what's been working for you at the plate?

Can you give us any more insight?

Oh, here we go.

We got the Powerade.

Doubled up on him.

Damn it.

Sorry, I didn't know it was a live mic.

Yeah.

Sorry.

You didn't see yourself- It was- on the screen out there, did you?

It was the live mic.

I couldn't hear.

You lost the headset.

Can you take us through what's been working for you at the plate?

and apparently Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the breakfast of champions, which we love to hear, but I mean, you've gotta be seeing a beach ball right now.

just staying relaxed, staying calm in the box, and, yeah, just, just trusting in my eyes and the scouting report and, yeah, not trying to do too much.

That's kind of been the big, big key for me is, just to go in there and have a situational at bat, have a good at bat and, yeah, do whatever I can to get on base.

Hey, Casey.

Nice job tonight.

Rich Aurilia here.

Hey, I, I wanna ask you, you know, we've seen you up here the past few years and, and not really getting, you know, every day playing time.

Do you think that's the biggest difference for you this year?

Like to, to be consistent and to stay hot at the plate, it's just getting those consistent at bats day in, day out, knowing that your name is gonna be in the lineup?

Yeah, and I think, for me it's just kind of building off of last year.

you know, last year I kinda got to be in there almost every day.

you know, and then I had to deal with, the hand stuff throughout the year.

But, yeah, just, just being in there and, just trusting in myself, trusting in my abilities and not trying to do too much.

And, yeah, just, just going out and playing and having fun.

I know we've talked to you about this before.

It's also impressive the way you're swinging the bat with how many different positions you've played.

Tonight you start in the outfield, you end up playing at second.

what's it like in game to try to make those adjustments to the different positions when you do get moved and then to also continue to produce?

Yeah, I just, I just switch my mindset.

you know, wherever I'm, if I'm in left field, then I'm a left fielder.

If I'm in second base, I'm a second baseman.

I just shift my mindset and, yeah, just try to keep things, keep things as simple as I can.

You know, it's, baseball's such a hard game and, you know, when you're kind of trying, and trying to go in there and overcalculate everything, you know, it's, it, it makes it even harder.

So I think just going in there and just simplifying things is a huge thing for me.

All right, well there you go.

Thanks so much, Casey.

We'll let you go dry off.

All right.

Thank you.

Some more Cinnamon Toast Crunch tomorrow, please.
