So for the San Francisco Giants, taking a look at Herrera Encarnacion and, you know, the spring training that he's had so far has certainly spoken a lot of volumes to, you know, the Giants roster and the depth that they have within their outfield.
obviously, you know, he, he-- in the latest game, you know, he would hit a four hundred and sixty-three foot home run.
and you know, that, that just goes to show, you know, the power that, that he has.
but also, you know, the, the spring training that he's had has, you know, been very impressive and, you know, certainly has, you know, put his name in the slot of infield or outfielders who are competing for an opening day spot.
you know, the, the, the hard thing for a guy like Encarnacion, obviously he was part of the roster last year.
but you know, the hard part is, you know, the, the consistency of playing time that he would likely get.
obviously he's going to be competing for a lot of spots, whether that be Harrison Bader, Jung-hoo Lee or even guys like, He-Heliet Ramos who are all, you know, fighting for spots.
but yeah, I mean, it-it's definitely a, a competitive, you know, competition for the outfield.
but, you know, he, he has shown that, you know, he can hit, you know, big league pitching and certainly do it at a very high clip.
you know, that, that obviously, you know, can speak to, you know, sort of a lot of players that have had, you know, really good spring so far for the Giants.
but yeah, I mean, he's definitely a very, you know, capable outfielder, certainly a guy who's more so known for his bat rather than his glove.
but yeah, I mean, he's definitely making a case for the Giants, you know, opening day roster, especially as, you know, this week is, you know, the last, you know, week of spring training.
