Video Transcript
The reality is they are just trying to become a athletic team with more energy right now, and hoping AJ Ewing can provide a little hint of that.
I think this, Connor, is what the Mets envisioned their outfield looking like.
Maybe they envisioned it a little later in 2026 than May 12th.
August.
But yeah, something like that, July, August.
like I think they I think if they had their druthers, AJ Ewing would probably still be in Triple-A Syracuse.
And you see on the bottom graphic, if you're watching on YouTube, did we move to Panic City?
I wouldn't say it's panic, but I would say there's a sense of, a little sense of desperation, and certainly a sense of urgency.
And I think the word desperation can be taken with, like, a negative connotation, but the Mets are desperate, so that's where, that's where we are.
And can AJ Ewing just provide something?
As you said, he'll likely start in the bottom third of the order, and hopefully he comes up and he continues doing what he was doing at Double-A, at Triple-A.
Frankly, essentially since he's been drafted, all AJ Ewing has done is hit at every single level that he's been.
Right
