Mets top prospect A.J. Ewing made his Major League debut, driving in two runs and reaching base four times as New York beat the Detroit Tigers 10-2. Ewing also became the first Met to triple in his first big league game.

He heads for the plate and he'll score without a throw, and the Mets grab their first lead of the night.
