How'd you feel out there?
good.
Comfortable, confident, excited.
What was the best part about the AJ?
probably the win at the end, but, just looking around.
when I got on first base for the first time, that was when it kinda hit.
What was the thing you had at that point?
Just be like, "Wow," like, "This is baseball."
What did you see out there for your stolen base?
what did I see?
Just, I felt it, and I just kinda went with instinct there.
What was it like to have your dad, and others cheering you on in the stands?
it was awesome.
Yeah, seeing them there and supporting me, 'cause they've been through the journey with me.
It, it was great.
I know they talked about how impressive it was that you were able to work the count, take some close pitches.
What, what's the challenge in a situation like the one you're in to be able to stay patient and not, offer at those pitches?
I just think that's kind of part of my identity as a hitter, is, you know, I'm patient.
I see a lot of pitches, and then I make pitchers work hard.
How did your first taste of Big League baseball compare to your expectations that you had?
it, it definitely beat my expectations.
It's, it's undescribable, what it feels like to play out there in a Big League stadium.
It, it's, it's, it's great, man.
When, when you see a kid have a Big League debut like that, what, what, what do you think about?
What, what stands out to you?
at first, it reminds me when, of my, my debut, and how proud, like, you feel about yourself and your family being there too.
I know that he feels great about it, and I think that we make him feel better with a win.
Yeah, and he helped to that too a lot.
Well, what impressed you the most about what he did out there?
I think the, the way that, that he was looking, taking those at-bats, like, taking the walks and all that.
It was amazing
