One Major Lineup Change The Cubs Still Need To Make
Craig Counsell finally shook up his struggling batting order, but the real solution lies in unleashing two top prospects currently wasting away on the bench.

What is up Cubs fans, and welcome back to Cubs Roundtable.
I'm Joey Polizzi, talking about all things Cubs.
And manager Craig Counsell has finally shaken up the lineup a bit.
His fans have called for it, and Craig Counsell has finally kinda answered that call here.
Lineup looks a little different here ahead of Saturday's contest against the Astros.
You got P.J.
Armstrong leading off, Alex Bregman in the two hole, Michael Busch number three.
Number four, Nico Hoerner, surprise in that cleanup spot.
Then you got Micker Conforto number five.
Number six is going to Seiya Suzuki, Moises Ballesteros seven, Miguel Amaya eight, and Dansby Swanson number nine.
A little interesting lineup here, but Michael Busch in that three, four spot is the perfect spot for him.
He's batting 300 with 21 RBIs with runs in scoring position this year.
You want a hitter like that in the number three spot, a guy who you know is gonna drive in runs.
And Nico Hoerner is a guy who always puts the ball in play.

Armstrong at the top of the lineup, little bit interesting because he doesn't walk a lot, his on-base percentage isn't the greatest.
But last year in his eight appearances in the leadoff spot, Armstrong looked really good in that spot.
So I don't mind shaking up the lineup and seeing what works because the Cubs offense has been poor here over the past two weeks.
But I still think there's one major change the Cubs still need to make in their lineup, and that's giving the younger guys a chance to show what they got.
The Cubs called both Pedro Ramirez and Kevin Alcantara up over the past two days, yet neither is in the lineup here on Saturday.
Ramirez batted over 300 with nine home runs, 40 RBIs in 43 appearances at Triple-A Iowa this year.
And Kevin Alcantara's 15 home runs with the Iowa Cubs this year are tied for first among all Triple-A hitters this season.
But neither player's in the lineup here on Saturday, so I would like to see Craig Counsell give both players some action here in the next few days.
