3 Cubs Hitter Carrying The Offense Lately
Explosive production from Pete Crow-Armstrong and a power surge by Dansby Swanson have ignited Chicago's lineup, transforming a stagnant offense into a dangerous group.

And welcome back to Cubs Roundtable.
I'm Joey Polizzi talking about all things Cub.
And the Cubs have finally broken out of their team-wide offensive slump.
After averaging under four runs per game in the month of May, the Cubs offense is finally heating up.
They're averaging seven runs per game over their last 11 contests, and have scored at least eight runs in four of their past five games.
A big part of this recent offensive stretch has been due to the play of P.J.
Armstrong, Matt Shaw, and Dansby Swanson.
P.J.
Armstrong, there's not much else to say about him other than he has been the best hitter in baseball over the last couple of weeks.
He has 11 home runs over his last 24 games.
He has been on another level, broke some history in the process, and has the best slugging percentage since he moved to the leadoff spot back on May 23rd.
The second hitter is Dansby Swanson.
Swanson is slowly but surely starting to heat up at the plate.
He is eight for 18 over his last five games and came up big in Wednesday's game one doubleheader victory over the New York Mets.
Swanson had two home runs in that contest and seven RBI, including a go-ahead three-run home run there in the midway point of the game.
Swanson, slowly but surely heating up, batting average is now closer to .200.
And the last hitter that has hit the ball well recently is Matt Shaw.
Since coming off the injury list due to mid-back tightness two weeks ago, Shaw has looked good at the plate, has a couple of triples, home run, couple of RBI, and has a hit in five of his six starts since coming off the injury list.
So Shaw should continue to get more playing time in the outfield.
With Moises Ballesteros now demoted, he should see some k- consistent at-bats moving forward.
