Again: Wake up and smell the ......

Whether I approve of Olympic game in our country now aside, one of the reasons to thank Olympic invitation is:Recognition about passive smoking problems has spread rapidly since our country was designated as nonsmoking backwater by World Health Organization.However, it's unfortunate -or shameful that countermeasure against passive smoking problem hasn't made progress due to panjandrums' quibbling and funny surmising.But things aren't hopeless. In this spring, a local city office introduced a new measure against passive smoking, and aroused online pros and cons argument: You cannot use elevators for 45 minutes after you smoke while exhalation contains harmful substances.In other words, after you smoke during lunch break, you must use stairs instead of elevators to go back to work in time.As for this, I felt they are going too far, and it's nonsmokers with health-conscious who tend to use stairs for exercise.But this news might remind active smokers all over our country how they are not only unwelcomed nowadays but also causing actual harm even while they aren't having tobacco -at least may I hope so?It's nothing new that panjandrums sacrifice property and health and life of general public for profits of their own,So if they want to appeal our country as smokers' heaven while they profess to be a developed nation, it can bring disgrace on ourselves in the world, but there is no help for it.Under such situation, local autonomies make a new movement instead of central government -such hopes are growing.At this City Office mentioned above, smoking break has been prohibited, and smoking is allowed only during lunch break at limited space.From worldwide views, if workers frequently suspend their work and go to smoking space, do other co-workers permit tacitly or accuse such workers for negligence?Since most of workplaces and offices became smoke-free, it has been a source of argument whether workers should be tolerated to leave their position to smoke.Smokers' side claim that they have right to refresh, just like everyone takes tea break and restroom break.Nonsmokers' side claim that it's annoying if smokers suspend work frequently, and it's unfair that smokers work overtime and get overtime pay after they loaf for smoking during working hours, and besides, their smell is disgusting when they came back from smoking break.Does anybody have some idea to settle this argument?However, a new common knowledge came up that exhalation contains harmful substances for 45 minutes after smoking -Since this fact has been spread by the news about new smoking rule mentioned at the beginning, From now on, smokers must refrain from smoking at least before meeting other people, regardless of customers and co-workers, friends and family.One more thing to order: They must not ride on public transportation for 45 minutes after smoking -which I experienced at rush hour recently.Needless to say, smoking while walking is out of question -just a reminder.In short, it's time for active smokers to face the fact that they are now under counterattack they deserve after they have been doing self-indulgence. 故郷想 -still long long way to go

　It's already seven years after 3.11 earthquake disaster, and reconstruction of buildings and land readjustment have made progress.But still, there are about twenty thousand evacuees, and about seven thousand people live in temporary housing.Besides, reconstruction of spirit hasn't made headway enough.This year, as long as I read and watch articles and TV programs about 3.11 earthquake disaster, I had an impression that central people neglect people at spot after they just made and left tangible material objects. From the next year after the earthquake disaster in northeastern Japan, Chikuzen Satou from Sing Like Talking started a series of small concerts alone as reconstruction assistance. All the members of S.L.T. are from Aomori, one of the prefectures in northeastern Japan.Besides, on March 11, 2011, Chikuzen was in Sendai for promotion of S.L.T.'s new album, and experienced this earthquake.According to Chikuzen, one of the major concerns of people at spot is: Experience and lessons of earthquake disaster are fading, and survivors and victims are forgotten.The intention of this concert is chain of memory.That's why Chikuzen has a plan of his own to visit every prefectures one by one per month -except for when he is too occupied with works of Sing Like Talking.If local fans visit his concert, and local media come to cover and report, this concert can be an opportunity to have them recall about earthquake disasters and people in Touhoku and Kyushu area.At first, the title was "北郷想". "北" is "north", "郷" is "home" -both geographical places and people, "想" is "affection and support".On April 14 and 15, 2016, a massive earthquake struck Kumamoto and Ooita -southwestern area of Japan.Back then, Chikuzen wasn't holding this series of concerts to give top priority to Sing Like Talking.He thought that it's not proper to use the title "北".When he resumed the series of concerts, the title was changed to "故郷想".　"故郷" means "home".　　This title doesn't limit geographical place in Japan.　　　Also; after earthquake disaster in 2011, a lot of supports were sent from Kyuushu area including Kumamoto, so Chikuzen says that the new title expresses repayment and gratitude from northeastern area.Even while the purpose of this series of concerts is reconstruction assistance, Chikuzen says that he hopes visitors relax and enjoy this concert like a concert at a cafe.Chikuzen selects small concert places, so often it's very cramped.At this series of concerts, he selects songs based on lyrics.Songs of S.L.T., songs he made release as a solo singer, cover songs in Japanese and English, old and new songs...he performs various songs.He selects songs that sound different if we listen thinking of purpose of this series of concerts.As of March 2018, he has held this series of concerts in 33 of 47 prefectures.And his challenge and our solidarity go on...Who is 320,000th visitor！？(Previous)

角松敏生Meetsアロージャズオーケストラ Vol.4

大変お待たせいたしました。6.5KB越えにつき色文字少な目、本文中敬称略（2018年3月23日 atビルボード大阪 1st set）1.Rain Man"アロージャズオーケストラ！ …今晩もよろしくお願いいたします"2.（？）3.（？）"皆さんこんばんは、角松敏生です。そしてもう一度ご紹介します…アロージャズオーケストラ！"結成60周年"還暦"セッションは4回目。ライブの度に、来てよかったと言う人が多く…ビッグバンドは聞くのは好きだが、アローはスイングジャズが基本で自分にはないスタイル。当初は"できるかな？"という疑問と、敷居が高く"自分がやるもんじゃない"という考えやトラウマもあり…だがやってみると楽しくて…小難しいようで自由でフレキシブル"悪ノリして4回目、さらに悪ノリしてCDまで作ってしまった"3年かけてその気になった…だが、アローのおかげで一歩踏み出せた80年代後半に、東京アンサンブルラボをプロデュースしたものの、いい気にはならなかった―が、アローは色んな音楽を貪欲に取り入れているフレキシブルさがあるからこそ…"アルバムの話をいっぱいしたいんですけど…とりあえず「できました！！」"貧乏性なのか、3年共演したらレパートリーは20曲位あり、CDにしないと勿体ないと思った話4.5,000マイルのカウンターアロージャズ60周年と自分のビッグバンとの共演アルバムのリリースが被ったのがご縁を感じる"実は狙っていただけ" 60年前…"このワタクシでさえ細胞になっていない""今日はいちいち紹介しますから"アローも60周年のCD制作の予定―で、1曲角松の歌唱が入る。厳密に言うと、2年前にサンケイホールで共演したときに1曲ゲスト出演した際に一発録りしたのがあり、　歌唱モノは他にも何曲かあるが、社長からお話があった時"え～！？"と思った　　しかし、聞いてみたら"割といいね"　ライブ感が…その曲を。　　　スタンダードナンバーだが…5.Beyond The Sea60年前といっても…60年前という時代が肌で残っている人がバンマスの宗清洋"お歳の話はしません…妖怪ウオッチって知ってます？絶対ついてるような気がする"リハーサルに行ったとき、昔のアローのリサイタルのパンフレットが飾ってあり、古いもので1984年…90年代になって今のメンバーに。それより古い時期だと知らないメンバーばかりだが、"ただ一人、宗清さんだけが分かる"だが、ある時期から彼の写真が変わっていない→1987年の曲で、"これも古い！" CDでも彼にソロをやってもらった6.Can't You See今回のアローとの共演の記録も残したいという思いがある。自分の曲にはブラスを効かせた曲も多いので、ブラスとの共演アルバムを作ってみたかった話東京アンサンブルラボとの共演以来、ジェリー・ヘイとの共演はあったが、全編ブラス…ジャズだけでなくラテンやファンクも入っている今回のCD "多分いいと思う"→今回レコーディングでは非常にお世話になったがライブでもお世話になるので、しっかりメンバー紹介・トランペットユン・ファソン "ボーカルもやります"渡辺隆築山昌広"レコーディングは東京だったので、大阪からソロイストを何人か招いて…8小節のためにわざわざ来てくれた" 田中洋一・サックス泉和成（バリトン）小林充（アルト）"「Rain Man」のソロを吹いてくれている" 席順で一人飛ばしたので"忘れてまへんがな、一応考えてます" 高橋知道（テナー）"ソプラノとアルトで2曲吹いてくれ、アローの花形とライナーノートでも紹介" 河田健（アルト）"20曲近いブラススコアを書いてくれたので、レコーディングでもタクトを振っていただいた" 宮哲之・トロンボーン大迫明谷口知巳"1人バストロンボーン" バリバリラテンフレーバーの曲のレコーディングに、大儀見元に参加してもらった。その大儀見率いる「サルサ・スインゴサ」ではピアノを弾いているためピアノの人と思われているが、同時にトロンボーンもやっているという"ヘンな人、いや凄い人"　中島徹"バンマス" 宗清洋・リズムセクションパーカッション：とくじろう"ボクのお友達でーす" コーラス：KIKOギター：中村たかしベース：宮野知巴ピアノ：石田ヒロキドラム：中嶋俊夫今日のビルボードのオリジナルカクテルの紹介なかなか手が出せなかった範疇だったが、100％自分のコントロール・プロデュースでやりたいと思っていた…アルバムからいち早く1曲7.（？）"あ～ぅ…こんな感じで1つのカタチになってよかった"自分のCDは4/25リリース、アローのCDは… "バンマスご存じない？"→"あと数曲最後までお楽しみいただきたいと思います"8.（？）9.Airport Lady10.SHIBUYA"ジャズのアンコールは早いです"…アルバムは"4月25日発売になりますんで、ぜひとも聞いてみてください"→"アルバムからもう1曲"ラテンフレーバーの曲を1曲勉強してもらいたい…この曲をやるならトロンボーンを吹いている場合じゃない、というわけで中島徹を呼ぶ"この髪型は寝癖ではなく寝ぐセットという"「Sea is a Lady2017」が日本ゴールドディスク大賞を取った話"芸能界のウラがある賞ではないから嬉しい"このアルバムには14,000字のライナーノート、今回は20,000字…ライブ定番で、予定調和的な曲だが、客とステージの絆の曲でもある　ここで紙ヒコーキが飛ぶのは関西で客が始めたこと、という話…だが、　　"多分…飛ばせないよ、だってやっている方も分かんないもん"　　　→"中島君の素晴らしいアレンジに拍手"11.Take You To The Sky High中島、ビッグバンドの席に戻る"ツアーは大阪が皮きりでございます。今年のツアーもひとつよろしくお願いします"第1回目以来の…12.You're My Only Shining Star今回でアロージャズと角松さんのコラボは4回目ですか…第1回目の年に行って、その後2回目・3回目は行かず、そして今回。前回"このステージをライブアルバムにしてもいいし、ビッグバンドとの共演で面白いテーマアルバムが出来るかも"てなことを思ったことを残してあり、今回行ってみたら、ついに実現のお話が。おめでとうございます！しかし2回目・3回目をすっ飛ばして、進化のプロセスまでは…分かりません。すみません。（東京アンサンブルラボと共演した頃でもある「シーズン1」を知らない上に「解凍」後2000年から8年ほどブランクがあった私にとって、角松さんの曲に関しては聞いた曲が多い割に"懐かしい"と感じる曲が少なく、「現在の角松敏生が全て」に近い）今回はアロージャズオーケストラ結成60周年への祝辞と敬意に替えさせていただきたく、赤い花のイラストをご用意いたしました。　バンマスの宗清氏はアロージャズの60年をリアルタイムで知る方、　　これまたSING LIKE TALKINGの歌にもありましたが"続ける大切さと難しさ"であり、また長生きってするもんですね…そういや、昨年還暦の櫻井哲夫さんを知るきっかけとなったジャヴァンが昨年古希（彼のオフィシャルサイトでお名前を見かけて、"カシオペアのテツオ・サクライ？彼と接触・共演した日本人がいるのか"…と。後でお名前を手掛かりに探した結果、櫻井さんが元カシオペアのベーシストで、ジャヴァンのオフィシャルサイトで触れられていたCDが「カルタス・ド・ブラジル」と知る事に）彼と同じく角松さんも、ステージでは別として、自分の曲へのこだわりが強いとお見受けします。―というのも、一番最近行った佐藤竹善さんのライブ（SLTではなくソロです）で「Cornerstones6」に関するお話があり、オーケストラとの共演アルバムを作らせてもらえることになった際、SLTや自身のソロの曲をアレンジしたのではなく、カバーシリーズ「Cornerstones」として作ったエピソードを語っておりました。かたやクラシックのオーケストラ、かたやビッグバンドジャズオーケストラ、というのは脇に置いといて、このお2人が歌で表現する際のアプローチの違いと、逆に共通する思いって何だろう…なんてことを考えてしまいました。このお2人を知った時期は1年半しか違わない上、一時はバンドメンバーも共通していたことから、サイモン＆ガーファンクルよろしくガチでの共演を観てみたい…という願望も込もっております、はい。

In other words, "Before you are here as yourselves, did you spend whole time from fertility until you reach adulthood in special containers in laboratories or factories?"Putting ethical issues completely aside, when such technology was actually put into practical use, this would be added to laws against birth discrimination.2.
