I'm working on landscapes. Therefore, I visit scenic resorts in search of "picturesque places." However, I eventually paint not the "picturesque places" themselves, but, say, undistinguished trees on the way, any of which are very beautiful, though. I make picture of invaluable scenery which I finally found on my journey but it is the one which, on second thought, I might find in my neighborhood. Beauty exists ubiquitously. That's what I paint. In the current exhibition, I'm looking at the scenery in some of my paintings. I painted the landscapes with myself.
