先ほどの03より更に熟成が進んでエレガントです。98はオージー全体は大変良い年でしたが、このワインの評論家の評価は低い様です。若干パワーが弱いのかも知れません。でも元々力に満ち溢れているので私にはまだまだ強く感じます。

色は澄んだガーネット色、香りはプラム、丁子、黒胡椒、スパイス、甘草、革、味わいは優しくなったタンニン、エレガントな果実味、きれいな酸、バランスのとれた豊潤なワインです。噛みごたえのあるエキス分、余韻も長く熟成感があって良いワインだと思います。

It exhibits a provocative perfume of smoke, barbecue spice, creme de cassis, and blackberries with pepper and vanilla in the background. Full-bodied, opulent, and voluptuous, this sexy, dense, low acid Shiraz coats the palate with considerable viscosity and purity. It can be drunk now and over the next 12-14 years.
