シャトー・パルメ［1982］【smtb-T】

ここ数年毎年飲んでいるパルメの82です。

徐々に良い感じに味が乗って来ていると思います。

綺麗に作られたマルゴーらしいワインですね。

凄く上品で優美なワインです。

この瓶は若々しいですね。

色は深く濃いガーネット色、カシス、杉、濡れた黒土、茸、トリュフ、革、味わいは優しく舌をを包み込む果実味、余韻の綺麗な酸、厚みのあるエキス分、優しいタンニン、喉ごしの綺麗な、絹の様なボルドーです。

コンディションも最高でまだまだ若々しく、古酒感は全く感じません。

素晴らしいワインだと思います。

09年

色は深いガーネット色、香はカシス、プラム、杉、ハーブ、土、キノコ、味わいはエレガントな果実味、柔らかい酸、丸くなってもしっかりしているタンニン、柔らかい喉越しで、スルスルと喉に流れて行きます。実によいバランスの古典的ボルドーの良品だと思います。

08年

色は深いガーネット色、エッジに微妙にレンガがさして来ています。香はカシス、プラム、杉、ハーブ、味わいはエレガントな果実味、柔らかい酸、丸くなってもしっかりしているタンニン、柔らかい喉越しで、スルスルと喉に流れて行きます。実によいバランスの古典的ボルドーの良品だと思います。

This wine has turned out far better than predicted. The 1982 has become more delineated and put on weight. The 1982 is a juicy, complex, Pomerol-inspired effort with abundant black cherry and black currant fruit presented in a medium to full-bodied, plump, straightforward style. Fleshy, fresh, and lively, it should be consumed over the next 7-10 years.

The 1982 Palmer has turned out better than I had predicted. It has always been a loosely knit, diffuse, but flavorful wine with low acidity, and plenty of soft, ripe black fruits intermixed with scents of flowers and herbs. Sweet, generous, and fleshy, without much grip, this medium-bodied, fully mature wine should continue to drink well for another decade. Very charming and delicious! Tasted 6 times since bottling with consistent notes.

Although not an exceptional wine, the 1982 Palmer continues to score higher. While it has always been loosely knit and disjointed, it does display more concentration and richness than I thought. The wine exhibits a spicy, fruitcake-scented nose, low acidity, succulent, jammy fruit flavors, medium to full body, and a soft finish. Drinkable, yet unevolved aromatically, it will develop further and last longer than I predicted. It should be consumed over the next 10-15 years. Last tasted, 5/93.
