上野恩賜公園の噴水がライトアップされていました Illumination event at Ueno Park
上野恩賜公園の噴水が、ライトアップされていました。 調べたら、「創エネ あかりパーク2025」のイベントの一環で行われているようです。 I visited Ueno Park Fountain area on October 30 and found out that they are conducting the event called Akari Park 2025. It is said that they are using green energy for illumination.

恵那駅で見かけたキハ55と駅を発車したC12 1969年
写真は、1969年４月に中央西線恵那駅付近で撮ったものです。 気動車は、キハ55系のキハ55136です。キハ55系は高山線を走っていたはずなのに、中央本線恵那駅で見かけたことは、不思議です。 蒸気機関車は、C12で、明知線を走っていました。恵那駅を発車したところです。

多治見駅で見かけたC58、キハ91、EF64、クハ76 1969年
写真は、1969年4月、中央西線多治見駅で撮ったものです。 蒸気機関車はC58です。構内で入れ替え作業をしていました。 ディーゼルカーの写真は、キハ91系の急行「きそ」です。先頭車は、キハ91系のキハ915。キハ91系は1967年に新系列強力型気動車の試作車として設計・製造された急行形気動車です。製造後わずか10年で運行終了となりましたが、試用された様々な要素技術は、以後の国鉄気動車・客車に大きな影響を及ぼしていて、気動車史上重要な系列ということができます。 電気機関車はEF6411です。1968年から稲沢第二機関区に転入し、中央本線などで活躍していました。1964年に製造され、奥羽本線板谷峠越え（福島 - 米沢間）のEF16形の置換え用として活躍した機関車です。 電車は、70系のクハ76303です。神領電車区に所属し、名古屋と中津川間を運行していました。70系は、横須賀線や中央東線など通勤と中距離路線用に開発された3扉セミクロスシート車で、1951年から1958年にかけて製造された車両です。

今朝の富士山の冠雪 Mt.Fuji this morning, October 28
写真は、2025年10月28日に、さいたま市の荒川左岸から撮った富士山です。 冠雪がかなりはっきりしています。 I took these pictures from the bank of the Arakawa river in Saitama city. They say the Mountain was capped with snow for first time this season on October 23.

大宮操車場の昼下がり
写真は、1969年3月のある日の昼下がり、大宮操車場で撮ったものです。 大宮操車場は、与野駅と大宮駅の間の広大な地域に広がっていました。写真は与野駅から大宮方面に向かってすぐのところの景色です。 たくさんの蒸気機関車が入れ替え作業をしていて、日がな一日のんびりと眺めていました。

秩父鉄道の東急車両8090系
2枚の写真は、2025年10月18日に、秩父鉄道御花畑駅付近で撮ったものです。 2両編成は秩父鉄道7800系です。3両編成は秩父鉄道7500系で、ジオパーク秩父ラッピングになっています。 どちらも、東急大井町線で走っていた東急8090系を改造したものです。パンタグラフがシングルアーム型から従来の菱型に戻っています。 なお、東急8090系は、航空機の強度解析に使用される有限要素法を用いたコンピュータ解析により設計され、日本初の量産ステンレス軽量車体を採用した車両で、1980年から製造が始まりました。 【Bon appétit !】 The Chichibu Railway Company, Ltd is a small-sector private railway company operating a railway line in northern Saitama Prefecture. Taiheiyo Cement is its largest shareholder, and one of Chichibu Railway's main operations is the transportation of limestone from Mount Bukō. The railway's passenger services concentrate on the tourism industry, as there are popular destinations along the line. 大宮機関区のキューロク29620
2枚の写真は、1969年3月に大宮機関区でみかけたキューロク29620です。 平機関区から移って来て元気に活躍していますが、この写真を撮った2か月後に廃車となり、その後大宮工場で解体されたということです。機関車の後ろのレンガ造りの車庫は、日本鉄道株式会社時代に建てられたものです。

UNESCO recognizes 25 sites of cultural interest within the Mount Fuji locality. 上野駅 13.5番線 四季島
上野行の電車に乗ったら、17番線に着きました。いわゆる上野駅の下のホームに到着しました。13番線に四季島が停まっていました。 写真は、2025年9－10月に、東十条駅付近、西川口駅付近、上野駅で撮った四季島です。四季島のために作られた上野駅13.5番線ホームも写っています。 Photos are the E001 series (E001形), branded Train Suite Shiki-shima.
