This blog is starting to feel like a dragonfly nymph diary (^^;), but when I woke up this morning, another nymph had emerged after a few days.
After fluttering around indoors, it turned out there was already another dragonfly! It seems that two nymphs emerged last night.
This one is perfect—fourth time’s the charm. When I opened the window, it took off into the sky with incredible speed.
The other one, which I had been worried about, also flew off from the balcony, a bit clumsily but still managed. I’m relieved that I could release two of them back into nature.
Here’s the exuvia of the other nymph. Extending the chopstick and bringing it closer to the curtain seems to have helped.
There are still more nymphs left, so I’d love to witness one of them in the process of emerging at least once.
