The Newark, Delaware-based company said it had profit of 30 cents per share.
The water resource management company posted revenue of $19.4 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $13 million, or $1.41 per share. Revenue was reported as $79.1 million.
Artesian Resources shares have increased nearly 1 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $32.14, an increase of 19 percent in the last 12 months.
